60th Annual General Meeting of NSIC was held on 27-08-2015 at the NSIC Corporate Office. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC, Shri Amarendra Sinha, Special Secretary & Development Commissioner, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning and Marketing), NSIC and other Directors on Board Shri Rakesh Rewari and Shri Rajiv Chawla along with Ms. Niti Sethi, Company Secretary, NSIC attended the meeting.

The Governor, Bangladesh Bank Dr. Atitur Rahman during his recent visit to India met Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon`ble Minister, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises along with Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC and held discussions regarding opportunities of mutual growth of MSME sector both within India and Bangladesh.

NSIC is continuously strengthening its systems and process for ensuring excellent dissemination of the benefits of NSIC schemes to the MSME sector. On the occasion of Sadhbhavna Diwas, NSIC joined the Nation in administering the “Sadhbhavna Pledge” to eschew violence and promote goodwill amongst people. Shri A.K.Mittal, CGM(SG), NSIC and Shri Gaurang Dixit, GM(SG), NSIC administered the pledge along with the employees. Speaking on the occasion Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC stated that NSIC is on a tremendous growth path and all of us must work in harmony to enable NSIC touch new heights. M/s HIYAR JAGOT at Guwahati, Assam, a NSIC (Guwahati) Incubator Trainee received 1st prize in National Productivity and Innovation Award (2013-2014) in Textiles & Garments Sector for her innovative product "Palakote" (Readymade Mekhala-Chador). NSIC has renewed its MOU agreement with Corporation Bank under Bank Tie up Scheme marking it as a beginning of its second innings under tie up arrangement to help MSMEs with credit facility . The renewal of MOU has been complemented by NSIC’s sustained endeavours to help MSMEs in getting credit from banks under its Bank tie up Scheme. The MOU envisages growth and promotion of MSME Sector in the country empowering them to withstand the global competition. The agreement was signed by Sh. RajanTrehan, General Manager, NSIC and Sh. M.A Rasheed General Manager, Corporation Bank. Also present on this occasion was Ms. Himani Shali, Product Manager (Bank Credit facilitation Scheme) from NSIC.

Sh. Ravindra Nath, Chairman & Managing Director, NSIC inaugurated the Job Fair organized by NSIC Technical Service Centre (NTSC), Okhla, New Delhi on August 5, 2015. The objective of the Job Fair was to provide employment opportunities through campus placement to trainees undergoing various demand driven, industry oriented skill/ Entrepreneurship development training courses run by the centre. <br><br> The 14 companies from divergent fields like Munjal Showa Pvt. Ltd., Accurate Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd, Star Wire, Data Soft, Humidin, Magna Rico Powertrain Pvt. Ltd., Devine Meditech, Adaan Digital Solutions etc. to name a few, participated in the event and selected candidates as per their requirement. <br><br> A thorough written test followed by interview by these companies was conducted to screen the right candidates for right job by these companies. Shri Ravindra Nath, Chairman cum Managing Director, National Small Industries Corporation, led an official Expert Team of NSIC to Dhaka, Bangladesh during July 28-31, 2015 on the invitation of the Indian High Commission in Dhaka, Bangladesh, IAMSME Bangladesh and Industrial & Infrastructure Development Finance Co. Ltd. (IIDFC) for conducting Feasibility Study for the establishment of Incubator in Bangladesh. Dr. Pralay Dey, General Manager-SG also accompanied the CMD, NSIC during his visit. CMD, NSIC was also a special guest in the occasion of launching of IamSME of Bangladesh, which is a dedicated Association of positive and committed MSME entrepreneurs of Bangladesh.

Shri S. N. Tripathi, being congratulated by Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC upon taking over as Additional Secretary, Ministry of MSME, during his presence in the meeting of Board of Directors of NSIC. This was his first Board Meeting of NSIC after taking over as Additional Secretary (MSME). Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) and Shri Rajive Chawla & Shri Rakesh Rewari, Board of Directors of NSIC who were present in the meeting, also congratulated him.

Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD,NSIC in discussion with Shri Anant Geete, Hon’ble Minister of Public Enterprises and Heavy Industry (Government of India) at the India’s Top PSUs and Awards 2015.On this occasion, M/s. Dun & Bradsheet felicitated NSIC on its completing 60 years in the service of MSMEs.

Shri Ravindra Nath, C.M.D., NSIC during his visit to NSIC-TSC, Hyderabad on 13th July’2015 inaugurated the following new training programs at the Centre. <br> <br> a) Informatica, SAP, Share point, Lab view and Selenium etc., in Software Module, <br> b) Tally, Beautician and Fashion design etc., in Multimedia Module, and <br> c) E-CAD and Solar energy etc., in Electrical module of the Centre. <br><br> Also present on the occasion Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), Shri P. Ravi Kumar, Zonal General Manager (South-II) and Shri U. Venkatachalapathi, General Manager, NSIC.

NSIC & Maruti Suzuki Ltd., entered into an MoU for disseminating the various schemes and verticals of NSIC and the leasing scheme (N2N) of Maruti Suzuki Ltd. to the MSME units. Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M), NSIC being welcomed by Shri S.N.Burman, Vice President, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. in the presence of Sunil Bali, General Manager(SG)(BD), NSIC and Shri Arun Singh Bhati, Maruti Suzuki India.
