NSIC conducted a One-day Capacity Building Programme on "Communicating with Confidence – Winning Over the Customers" on 18.07.2026

NSIC believes that effective communication and a customer-centric approach are essential to strengthening its relationships with stakeholders. In line with this vision, NSIC conducted a One-day Capacity Building Programme on "Communicating with Confidence – Winning Over the Customers" on 18.07.2026 for its Business Development Officers. The programme was inaugurated by the CMD, who encouraged the officers to continuously enhance their communication skills and adopt a customer-focused approach while engaging with stakeholders. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation and featured highly engaging, experiential learning sessions focused on effective communication, customer engagement, relationship building, persuasive presentation skills, handling challenging interactions, and delivering superior customer service. Through interactive activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, participants gained valuable insights and techniques to communicate with greater confidence and professionalism in their day-to-day interactions.

"MSMEs of Haryana: Empowering the Journey to Viksit Bharat - 2047"at Gurugram on 19th July 26.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) organised Haryana State Conference on the theme "MSMEs of Haryana: Empowering the Journey to Viksit Bharat - 2047"at Gurugram on 19th July 26. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Manoj Kumar Singh, Senior General Manager, NSIC who was invited as a guest speaker highlighted the corporation’s initiatives and support mechanisms for the growth and competitiveness of MSMEs. The conference was attended by policymakers, industry leaders, Institute members, and CMAs, providing an excellent platform for knowledge sharing among the participants.

Partnership, Digital Ecosystem, Quality and Growth Opportunities for MSMEs. The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and the Quality Council of India (QCI) have signed an MOU on 09th July, 2026 at New Delhi with an aim to build an integrated ecosystem to empower MSMEs by providing them quality certification and market access along with financial incentive for Business growth. This collaboration transforms the MSME growth journey into a single, connected pipeline: Quality → Digital Commerce → Market Visibility → Market Access. Together, this NSIC and QCI collaboration shall enable Indian MSMEs to become more competitive, digitally empowered and globally connected.

TransUnion CIBIL Limited organised their flagship Credit Conference at Mumbai on July 01, 2026 on the theme of "𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲". Participating in the deliberations, CMD Dr. Subhransu Acharya, delivered a special address on the theme "Commercial Credit Evolution - From Insight to Impact" where he highlighted the transformation of commercial credit in India, more particularly on the dimensions of curating a supportive institutionalised architecture for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). He opined that while ease of Access to Credit is important, the MSMEs thrive and sustain when the complete ecosystem comprising aspects of technology, skilling, and market linkages and availability of both debt and equity capital complement one another. He highlighted the ecosystem approach from 𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗖 which has been providing comprehensive services ranging from assisted credit, supply chain assistance, Technology upgradation, and empowering MSMEs to participate in Public procurement process, market linkages etc. He further added that, in the final analysis, its just not the growth in loan books but the impact and value creation that is much more important for meeting our national aspirations of 𝗩𝗶𝗸𝘀𝗶𝘁 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁. The conference was also addressed by eminent personalities including CHALLA SETTY, Chairman, SBI, 𝗦𝗵. 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗽 𝗕𝗮𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗶, MD&CEO, ICICI Bank , Rajiv Anand, MD&CEO, Indusind Bank, Rama Mohan Rao Amara , MD, SBI and other heads of NBFCs and Banks. Over 1200 delegates attended the conference.

NSIC receives "Excellence in Small & Medium Scale MICE Venues Award" at EEA 2026 The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. (NSIC) has been conferred with the prestigious Winner Award in the category "Excellence in Small & Medium Scale MICE Venues" at the Exhibition Excellence Awards (EEA) 2026 – Decennial Edition, held on 12 June 2026 at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai. The award ceremony was graced by distinguished industry leaders including Mr. Raghav Khosla, Founder – Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit (EEA) and Group Editor – Exhibition Showcase and others. The award was presented in the presence of the esteemed jury comprising Mr. Ketan Sanghvi, Chairman, India ITME Society; Ms. Seema Srivastava, Executive Director, India ITME Society; Ms. Swati Pandey, Vice Chairman & Managing Director, Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd. NSIC Celebrates 12th International Yoga Day on 21st June 2026

NSIC celebrated 12th International Yoga day at NSIC Complex on 21st June 26 echoing with theme of IDY Yoga for Healthy Ageing in promoting physical, mental and spiritual well-being for citizens of all ages. The event was graced by the Sh.Bharat Khera,Secretary MSME ,Dr S.S Acharya CMD NSIC, Sh Gaurav Gulati ,Director Finance NSIC along with other senior officials of the Ministry of MSME and NSIC. Guided session was conducted by certified yoga instructors bringing all participants together in a unified display of discipline and harmony.

NSIC Participates in BRICS Summit at Agra on 19th June 26

National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) participated in First BRICS MSME Forum and Third SME Working Group Summit on June 19 2026 held in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. The event brought BRICS bloc nations together to chart a common path toward building resilience, innovation and sustainability by forging mutual cooperation. During the event, NSIC showcased its institutional support for promoting small enterprises through technology, marketing and skill-development which will help in building future-ready MSME ecosystem in the BRICS countries. 𝗦𝗵 𝗕𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗮,Secretary MSME ,𝗗𝗿 𝗥𝗮𝗷𝗻𝗲𝗲𝘀𝗵 AS&DC,MSME alongwith delegates from BRICS nation visited NSIC’s pavilion and were appreciative of NSIC technological display. The event was attended by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗦.𝗦. 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗮, CMD, NSIC along with all senior officials from the Ministry,representatives from the Industry and NSIC.

Visit of delegation from Brazil to explore MSME Cooperation

A delegation from the Federative Republic of Brazil, comprising of Mr. Getulio Vaz, Senior Analyst, SEBRAE, Brazil, Mr. Bruno Peixinho, Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Micro Enterprise and Small Business (MEMP) and Mr. Bruno Berrettini Campones do Brasil, Deputy Head of Secom, Trade and Investment Promotion Sector, Embassy of Brazil visited NSIC on June 17, 2026. The delegation was received by Dr. S. S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC and Mr. Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance). During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on enhancing India–Brazil MSME collaboration and identified key areas of mutual interest, including entrepreneurship promotion, capacity building, skill development, technology transfer and fostering business linkages between MSMEs of the two countries. The interaction also provided an opportunity to share best practices and explore mechanisms for institutional cooperation. The visit concluded with a guided tour of NSIC’s Technical Services Centre at Okhla, New Delhi, where they were briefed on NSIC’s initiatives in skill development, entrepreneurship support and technical services aimed at enhancing the competitiveness, productivity and technological capabilities of MSMEs.

MoU with TU CIBIL

A MoU was signed between NSIC and TU CIBIL on 16.06.2026 in the presence of Dr.Subhransu Sekhar Acharya , CMD, NSIC, CA CMA Sh. Gaurav Gulati , Director (Finance), NSIC, and other senior officials from both the organizations. The MoU was signed by Sh. Manoj Kumar Singh , Sr. General Manager, NSIC, and Sh. Nikhil Rajadhyaksha, Chief Revenue Officer, TU CIBIL. The MoU aims to strengthen the MSME ecosystem through capacity-building initiatives, credit education programs , development of joint insights reports, and awareness campaigns. The collaboration seeks to inculcate better financial discipline among MSMEs, enabling them to improve their credit profile and access formal credit at competitive terms in order to make best use of available opportunities. The MoU also envisages to deep dive into various sectors and suggests way forward for the stakeholders.

Visit of H.E. Ambassador of Sudan at NSIC

A delegation led by H.E. Dr. Mohammed Abdella Ali Eltom, Ambassador of Sudan to India, called on Dr. S.S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC on June 09, 2026, to explore opportunities for cooperation between NSIC and Sudan, particularly in the areas of consultancy services for policy formulation, enterprise development, skill enhancement, incubation and entrepreneurship promotion. Mr. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), and Mr. Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), NSIC, were also present during the meeting. The Sudanese delegation included Mr. Ibrahim Elhaj Mohammed Ahmed Hamid, Counsellor, and Mr. Mohamed Abdelrahman Ahmed Adan, Counsellor, from the Embassy of Sudan, New Delhi. During the interaction, Dr. Acharya provided an overview of India’s MSME sector, the institutional framework supporting its growth and NSIC’s key initiatives aimed at strengthening and promoting MSMEs through a range of developmental and business support interventions.

South African Ministerial Delegation Visits NSIC to Explore MSME Cooperation

A high-level ministerial delegation from the Republic of South Africa, led by Hon’ble Ms. Stella Tembisa Ndabeni, Minister of Small Business Development, visited NSIC on June 01, 2026. The visit was undertaken as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector and to explore opportunities for institutional cooperation between India and South Africa. The delegation was received by Dr. S. S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC and Mr. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M). Delegates were briefed on the overview of the MSME sector of India, the enabling institutional ecosystem and Corporation’s initiatives for supporting MSMEs through its various interventions. Discussions focused on experience sharing & enhancing cooperation between MSME stakeholders of both countries. Mr. Khathutshelo Thagwana, First Secretary, High Commission of the Republic of South Africa in New Delhi also joined the meeting. The visit included a guided tour of NSIC’s Advanced Training Centre at Okhla, New Delhi, where the Hon’ble Minister was briefed on NSIC’s initiatives in skill development, entrepreneurship promotion and technical support services that enable MSMEs to adopt modern technologies and improve product quality and productivity.
