Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC during his recent visit to Ludhiana interacted with the members of Federation of Industrial Commercial Organization (Ludhiana) and discussed on new opportunities of growth that could be offered by NSIC to the MSMEs in the Ludhiana region. During the programme Shri Rajesh Jain, DZGM/SBM, NSIC Ludhiana apprised the units of various schemes of NSIC with emphasis on Raw Material Assistance Scheme, G.P. Registration in relation to Public Procurement Policy, Tender/ Consortia Marketing, B2B/B2C & Bank Tie-up Scheme etc.

Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Minister, MSME during his recent visit to “India Industrial Trade Fair 2015” applauded the efforts of NSIC (Jaipur) in disseminating the benefits of NSIC Schemes amongst the young people, entrepreneurs of Jodhpur region and urged the MSMEs to come forward and avail its benefits. Also present on the occasion were Shri Gajendra Singh Khimsar, Minister of Industries, Govt. of Rajasthan, Shri K.K. Sharma, Zonal Head, NSIC, Shri Prateek Chaturvedi, AM(BD), NSIC, Mr. Rajendra Rathi, President, Laghu Udhyog Bharti, Jodhpur Division.

Sh. P Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC participated as the moderator in the panel discussion organised by IIM Rohtak on 25.7.2015 on the topic "The Evolution of Indian Public Sector Enterprises achievements and Roadblocks".

Shri A. Navaneethakrishnan, Hon`ble Member of Parliament and Leader of AIADMK in the Rajya Sabha visited the Incubation Centre of NSIC, Okhla on 23.7.2015. Sh. P Udayakumar, Director (P&M) received him and took him around the incubator. He complimented NSIC for the pioneering efforts in creating new entrepreneurs.

Hon`ble Minister highlighted to the members on various initiatives taken by Ministry of MSME recently.

NSIC (Jamshedpur) has received Certificate of Excellence from Akhil Bhartiya Adivasi Vikas Parishad, Jharkhand on 14th Oct, 2015 for the exquisite contribution for the development of Tribal Community in the state of Jharkhand. The award was received by Shri Bijay Kumar Sharma, Branch Head, NSIC (Jamshedpur).

Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon`ble Union Cabinet Minister, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises received a dividend cheque of Rs.17.02 crores for the year 2014-15 from Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD, NSIC in the presence of Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, Ministry of MSME and Shri S.N.Tripathi, Additional Secretary, MSME, Shri B.H. Anil Kumar, Joint Secretary, MSME and other officials of Ministry of MSME. Shri RavindraNath, CMD, NSIC informed that the Corporation has done an overall business of Rs. 20,004 crore in 2014-15 posting a 15% growth from its previous year. During their visit, they also met Smt. Anandiben Patel, Hon`ble Chief Minister of Gujarat and highlighted the inimitability of the produces & amenities being offered by the Entrepreneurs, MSME in North East region.Shri.
