Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC & Mr. Rajan Nanda, Chairman, Escorts Group jointly inaugurated the training on operations of heavy equipments like Backhoe Loader, Pick ‘n’ Carry Crane and Forklift. The training is planned to be conducted by NSIC-Technical Service Centre, Okhla in association with Escorts Ltd. Techmart India inaugurated by Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Government of India in the gracious presence of Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME, Government of India, Dr. Anup K. Pujari, Secretary, MSME, Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC and Shri P. Uday Kumar, Director P&M, NSIC. Techmart India 2015, the 23rd edition of NSIC’s premier exhibition, showcases products and technologies of MSMEs from all over India, in hall no 14 Pragati Maidan. Products / Technologies of 435 MSME units will be displayed during Techmart 2015, of which 300 MSMEs are participating through virtual display and 164 MSMEs through physical participation with live demonstration. The participants have a diverse profile such as Women Entrepreneurs, SC/ST and Entrepreneurs from North Eastern States. The event also provides opportunities for creating sustainable business alliances. Qazi, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Hamdard University, where he was invited as Chief Guest to address the Lecturers & Engineering Students on “Academic Knowledge and Skill Required for Entrepreneurship” on the occasion of Faculty/Teachers Convention 2015. NSIC - Technical Service Centre ( NTSC) Okhla signed MOU with Escorts Limited for imparting " Heavy Equipment Operators "Training in the campus of NTSC Okhla, New Delhi. This association would facilitate to address the requirement of skill manpower for the operations of heavy equipment by the construction industry. The MOU was signed by Shri Satvinder Singh, Senior General Manager ,NSIC on behalf of NSIC.
Parliamentary Standing Committee on Industry led by its Chairman Shri K.C.Tyagi visited NSIC Rapid Incubation Centre on 26.10.15. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC welcomed the delegation and apprised them about the various initiatives taken by NSIC for the growth of MSME sector and role of its Rapid Incubation Centre in preparing youth for self-employment. Shri S.N.Triptahi, Additional Secretary & DC (MSME) was also present on this occasion.
NSIC (Chennai) participated in the State level Industries convention organised by TANSTIA on 31.10.15 at Villuparam. Shri V.Armugham, Zonal Head, NSIC disseminated the benefits of NSIC schemes to the participating MSMEs. Also present on the occasion were Shri Jagmohan Singh Raju, IAS Principal Secretary, MSME, Government of Tamil Nadu, Smt. Reeta Harish Takkar, IAS, Additional Commissioner of Industries, Government of Tamil Nadu.

NSIC Ludhiana organized Special Vendor Development Programme for the units owned by SC/STs where official from NABARD, FIEO, Gramin/Cooperative Banks, District Industry Centre along with the exporters were also present. During the program, Shri Rajesh Jain, DZGM/SBM, NSIC Ludhiana apprised the units of various schemes of NSIC with emphasis on Marketing Tool: - Public Procurement Policy/G.P. Registration, Tender/ Consortia Marketing, B2B/B2C & Bank Tie-up Scheme. Units were apprised pertaining to exports by FIEO & other schemes by NABARD, DIC & officials from various banks.
Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC delivering the key note address on 20.10.15 at the Curtain raiser on "Defence Expo 2015". The Defence Expo 2015 is being organised by NSIC from 10 – 12 Dec, 2015 at Bangalore. Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC, members of Industry Associations and senior officials of NSIC were present on this occasion.
NSIC (Ludhiana) organized Vendor Development Program in association with MSME-DI, Karnal & Ambala Small Scale Industries Welfare Association wherein 35 members of their association witnessed the programme. On this occasion, Shri Rajesh Jain, DZGM/SBM, NSIC Ludhiana interacted and apprised the units of various schemes of NSIC. Official from the participating organizations like BEL & IOCL, Panipat also apprised units on how to become their vendors. MSME officials also apprised the units about their various schemes for MSMEs.
