Dr. J.P Saini, Vice Chancellor (VC) of NSUT & DTU along with Dr. Vijander Singh, Dean NSUT visited NTSC Okhla on 10th July 2023. and appreciated the work being done by NTSC Okhla in the field of skill training and common facilities services. During this visit, they also interacted with Shri Kartikeya Sinha , Director (P&M),NSIC and explored opportunities to sign MoU so that the facilities in the campus of NSUT & DTU could be utilized by NSIC to run skill training with joint certification. thereby facilitating the students in internship in Industrial training and share resources to facilitate training in high technology areas amongst the youth & aspiring entrepreneurs. NSIC has been participating in Vendor Meets to create stronger long term relationship with MSMEs , drive innovation and to achieve enhanced customer satisfaction for better dissemination of the benefits of NSIC schemes amongst the MSME sector. In a recent Vendor Meet organised by ALIMCO on 24th July 2023 , Shri Manoj Lal, CGM, NSIC interacted with the vendors of Artificial limbs and its accessories and highlighted the various offerings of NSIC schemes so that the MSME vendors develop the ability to supply products at a reasonable cost across the country . The Vendor meet was presided by Shri Praveen Kumar, CMD,ALIMCO , Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS, Secretary , Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India. NSIC has been conferred with Editors Choice Award at the Exhibition Excellence Awards & Summit 2023 held on 07.07.2023 in recognition of support being extended to the MSMEs for participation in various Exhibitions across India & Abroad. NSIC has signed MOU with M/s Shree Cement Limited on 28th June, 2023 for supply of Cement on PAN India basis to MSMEs. The MoU was signed by Dr. Avinash Choudhary, General Manager (RMD) from NSIC and Shri Munish Garg – Joint Vice President from M/s Shree Cement Limited in the presence of Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC Ltd. Also present on the occasion were Sh. Amit Tuteja, Chief Manager- NSIC, Smt. Sonia Rathi, Deputy Manager-NSIC and Sh. Nitin Singhal, Manager, Shree Cement Ltd. The MoU will facilitate MSME in getting the quality material at competitive prices.
The International MSME Day was celebrated with enthusiasm by NSIC – Technical services Centre (Okhla) on 27.06.2023, where in recent pass-out candidates who became successful entrepreneurs were felicitated. They shared their success stories with the gathering and inspired others to aspire for higher dreams overcoming all odds. On this occasion, All India Confederation of Small & Micro Industries Associations (AICOSMIA), Chairman, Sh. Kapil Malik along with prominent and successful entrepreneur Mr. Pawan Gambhir were called and they shared their experiences and entrepreneurial journey in the past decades. Sh. O.P. Singh, GM, NTSC Okhla shared the importance of celebrating MSME day and apprised the participants about the entrepreneurship opportunities available with NTSC (Okhla).

NSIC (Cochin) actively participated in the International MSME Day 2023 celebrations organized on the eve of 27th June 2023 at Cochin. The Program was inaugurated by Shri P. Rajeeve, Honorable Minister for Law, Industries & Coir, Govt. of Kerala . On this occasion ,Shri M. Sreevatsan , Zonal General Manager (South 1),NSIC interacted with the MSMEs and motivated them to come forward and avail the benefits of NSIC schemes for their growth.
NSIC(Bangalore) in association with Karnataka Small Scale Industries Association celebrated MSME Day on 27th June 2023 alongwith officials from MSME-DFO, District Industries Centre ,KASSIA council members and MSMEs of the region. Speaking on the occasion, Shri M.Sreevatsan , Zonal Head highlighted the benefits of NSIC schemes to the participants of the program.
On the occasion of MSME Day 2023 , the NSIC - Technical Services Centre (Aligarh) along with Livelihood Business Incubation Centre (LBI) Deoria signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Govt. Polytechnic, Deoria on June 27, 2023 at Govt. Polytechnic, Deoria.The MoU has been signed to impart skill development training to the students of Govt. Polytechnic, Deoria to meet the skill requirement of the industry.Shri Ram Kumar Yadav-Dy. General Manager/Centre Head, NTSC, Aligarh signed the MoU on behalf of LBI, Deoria and Shri D. K. Gautam-Principal , Govt. Polytechnic, Deoria signed the same on behalf of Govt. Polytechnic, Deoria. The MoU will boost the efforts of NTSC, Aligarh/LBI Deoria to expand its reach among the youth for their skill development.
On the occasion of MSME Day, NSIC signed MoU with LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd. (LG)and Electronics Sector Skills Council of India(ESSCI) on 27th June, 2023 in the presence of Shri Narayan Rane, Honourable Cabinet Minister of MSME, Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Honorable Minister of State of MSME, Shri S. C. L. Das, Secretary ( MSME) .The MoU was signed by Mr. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC, Dr. Abhilasha Gaur, Chief Operating Officer, ESSCI and Mr. Tae Jin Chang, Vice President, LG Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. In this endeavour, the LG Electronics and Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) will set up a Centre of Excellence at NSIC - Technical Services Centre at Chennai and Hyderabad, aimed at training to under privileged youth in the fields of consumer electronics and appliances. This will open new avenues in field of electronics for the youth and generate skilled manpower for employment in this sector. In the first year 1200 youths would be benefited by getting trained in electronics goods servicing and repairing.
NSIC has been collaborating with various organizations / departments for convergence of the schemes for benefit of the target beneficiaries. In this direction, NSIC has signed MoUs on "International MSME Day" in the presence of Honorable Minister of MSME Shri Narayan Rane and Minister of State (MSME) Shri Banu Pratap Singh Verma on 27.06.2023 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi with National Scheduled Tribe Finance & Development Corporation (NSTFDC) and also National Scheduled Caste Finance & Development Corporation (NSFDC). Also present on this occasion were Shri S.C.L.Das, Secretary ,MSME and Dr. Rajneesh, AS&DC(MSME).Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC signed these MoUs on behalf of NSIC which will facilitate the mutual collaboration to support the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe entrepreneurs under various schemes being implemented by NSIC and NSFDC / NSFDC.
