Shri Kalandi Charan Samal, Independent Director (on the Board of NSIC) visited NTSC (Chennai) on 10th August, 2023 and appreciated the initiatives of the NTSC (Chennai). Shri U. Venkatachalapathi, Centre Head briefed him about the activities and training being imparted at center.
NSIC has been fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and skill development amongst its employees. Recently, Sh. Palash Bhowmick, Chief Manager (Tech), NTSC (Guwahati) has co-written a book on Total Quality Management. The book endeavours to act as a guide for the MSMEs to enhance their Productivity and Quality by adopting certain techniques. It is based on how to implement Value Engineering concepts into their Production / Service facilities so that Indian MSMEs can stand out in the competitive global market by maintaining Global Standards. एनएसआईसी (मंडी) द्वारा एनटीपीसी (कोलडैम) के सौजन्य से महिला सशक्तिकरण एंव आत्मनिर्भर ग्रामीण भारत के उदेश्य से, गाँव हरनोड़ा में 25 महिलाओं को “ड्रैस मैकिंग” में 6 माह का नि:शुल्क प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया। प्रशिक्षण में महिलाओं को बच्चों व महिलाओं के विभिन्न प्रकार के वस्त्र बनाने का प्रशिक्षण प्रदान किया गया। प्रशिक्षण का लाभ उठाने वाली महिलाओं ने एन.एस.आई.सी प्रशिक्षण की प्रसंशा करते हुए बताया कि ट्रेनर का प्रशिक्षण देने का तरीका बहुत ही अच्छा था जिससे उन्हें सीखने मैं आसानी हुई। मुख्यातिथि एंव अन्य गणमान्य लोगों ने समारोह में महिलाओं द्वारा प्रशिक्षण के दौरान बनाये गए उत्पादों की प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया और उनके द्वारा बनाए गए उत्पादों को देख उनके हुनर की तारीफ कीये बिना ना रह सके। उन्होंने एनएसआईसी द्वारा दिए गए उत्कृष्ट प्रशिक्षण की सराहना की और इसे नारी शशक्तिकरण की ओर उठा एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम बताया। समापन समारोह में एनटीपीसी द्वारा सभी महिलाओं को सिलाईं मशीनें, टेलरिंग किटें एंव प्रमाण पत्र बांटे गए ताकि महिलायें स्वरोजगार अपनाकर सवाबलम्बी बनें। एनएसआईसी प्रबंधक लोकेश भाटिया ने बताया की कुछ महिलाओं ने प्रशिक्षण के दौरान ही घर से व्यावसायिक काम शुरू कर दिया है जिससे उनका आत्मविश्वास बढ़ा है और पारिवारिक खर्च में भागीदारी निभा रही हैं जिससे पता चलता है कि एनटीपीसी और एनएसआईसी के प्रयास सफल हो रहे हैं। प्रशिक्षण का समापन एनटीपीसी (कोलडैम) संगिनी संघ की अध्यक्षा उषा अहिरवार द्वारा प्रबंधक एनएसआईसी मण्डी लोकेश भाटिया की उपस्थिति में हुआ।
Govt. of Kerala,( Industries Department) organized a one day workshop on NSIC Schemes on 2nd August 2023 at Thiruvananthapuram to train the of General Managers posted in the 14 Districts of the State of Kerala including senior officials of the state government so that the benefits of NSIC schemes can be availed by the MSMEs of the state of Kerala. The workshop was inaugurated by Shri P. Rajeev, Industries Minister in the presence of Principal Secretary Sh. Suman Billa, IAS along with other officers of the Kerala state. Sh. M Sreevatsan, Zonal Head, NSIC gave an exhaustive deliberation on all the NSIC schemes.
NSIC (NCR Zone) signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with M/s Kamal Timbers on 2nd August, 2023. The MoU aims to provide high-quality Plywood and other wooden materials to the MSME sector under the Raw Material Distribution Scheme (RMD). The MoU was signed by Shri Rajesh Kumar Tripathi, ZGM (NCR), NSIC and Shri Kaman Chawla, Director, Kamal Timbers. It is envisaged that the MoU will enhance the RMD in the NCR Zone. Also seen in the picture are Shri Sanjay Yadav, SBM, NSIC (Delhi), Shri B.K. Gupta, Chief Manager, Shri Dhirender Kumar, Manager, Shri Ashish kumar, Manager, Shri Mukesh Rawat, Dy. Manager and Shri Shaminder Kardam, Dy. Manager.
NSIC in association with Korea SMEs & Start-up Agency (KOSME), South Korea organized the NSIC-KOSME Global Technology Exchange Programme 2023 – (B2B Meetings) on 27th July 2023 at New Delhi to create business linkages and share information on the best practices for sustainable business alliances between enterprises of India and South Korea. During the program Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (International Cooperation) apprised the participants about the activities of NSIC as well as informed them about the possible cooperation areas. Total 37 Indian Enterprises and 7 South Korean Enterprises from sectors like 3D Printing, Waterproofing sheets, Rainwater Collection System, Mold for Automotive Industry, Dental Implants and Prosthetics, Injection Molding, Die casting & Construction Machinery participated in the B2B Meetings. Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Mr. Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) coordinated the B2B Meetings.
NSIC -Technical Services Centre (Aligarh) signs MoU with Narora Atomic Power Station on 26th July 2023 for imparting training for skill development to the youth of Narora area. Under this MoU , the NSIC -Technical Services Centre (Aligarh) shall train 240 nos. of youth in different technical trades. The trainings being imparted by NTSC (Aligarh) are industry oriented and demand driven and more than 800 youth are currently undergoing NTSC ( Aligarh) training programs. During this visit , the Narora Atomic Power Station (NAPS) team also visited the NTSC (Aligarh) workshop and appreciated the upgradation of Centre by NSIC to meet out the MSMEs demand in the region. The MoU was signed by Shri S.K.Kaware, Technical Services Superintendent & Chairman CSR and Shri Ram Kumar Yadav, Centre Head, NTSC (Aligarh). Shri Prateek Agrawal,Station Director, NAPS was also present on the occasion.
NSIC Technical Services Centre (Okhla), New Delhi organized Job Fair on July 21st 2023, to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placement. 22 companies participated in this Job Fair and recruited candidates from various fields like: CAD/CAM ,Mechanical Engineering, CNC Operation and Programming, Turner, Fitter, Welder ,Quality Control, Hardware Networking, Software Developer, Digital Marketing, Graphics Designing, Video Editors, HVAC Technicians, Electrician ,Interior Architecture. As a result of above, more than 800 trainees participated and out of these 249 trainees have been selected/shortlisted for placement after screening through the interview by the companies. The companies who participated include Munjal Showa, JBM Group, Konnect India Pvt Ltd, Lansiso Innovation Technologies, Microgene Diagnostic Systems Pvt Ltd, Parijaat Media, Millennium Automation, Swam Pneumatics, Compton Computers, Design O Furniture, etc.
NSIC has won the prestigious award Best Marketing Brand for the MSME Sector recognizing its exemplary contributions to the growth and development of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. The NSIC Corporate Marketing Division stood out amongst stiff competition amongst PSUs showcasing NSIC efforts in empowering entrepreneurs. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning and Marketing), NSIC stated that NSIC has been playing yeoman role as a facilitator and has number of schemes to support entrepreneurs in their marketing efforts in both Domestic and Foreign markets.
