Shri Gaurav Gulati on assuming the charge of Director (Finance), NSIC met with Shri Bhartruhari Mahtab, Honorable Deputy Chairman, Parliamentary Committee on Official Language, Government of India.
A delegation led by H.E. Mrs. Mwaka Cynthia Chizoma Mukubesa, Permanent Secretary Finance, High Commission of Zambia, New Delhi visited NTSC (Okhla) on 16th June, 2023. During their visit, Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director Planning & Marketing, NSIC apprised them about the various activities of NSIC as well as discussed the future areas of cooperation between NSIC and Zambia in field of MSME.The delegation was accompanied by Mrs. Deliwe Ndhlema Mumbi, Acting High Commissioner of Zambia. They observed that NSIC’s model of Rapid Incubation Centre for employment generation and Advanced Training Centre is apt for Zambian SME Ecosystem and showed keen interest for cooperation. A delegation from Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Taipei Economic and Cultural Center (TECC) visited Centre of Excellence and Advanced Training Centre at NSIC’s Technical Service Center, Okhla, New Delhi on 16th June 2023. Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (IC) and Mr. O.P. Singh, GM (Head NTSC) apprised the delegation about the activities of NSIC’s Advance Training Centers & its various training programmes and industry oriented courses in the fields like Information Technology, CAD/CAM & CNC, Robotics, Mechatronics, Solar, AR/VR, Multimedia & Animation, Electrical & Electronics for aspiring young entrepreneurs. The delegation observed NSIC’s Advanced Training Centre and appreciated NSIC’s facilities for skill development and creation of self-employment opportunities.
NSIC organized Virtual B2B Meetings between Indian and South Korean Enterprises in cooperation with Korea SMEs & Start-up Agency (KOSME), South Korea on 15th June 2023. During this meeting enterprises from both sides explored the possible areas of cooperation in the form of Import/Export, Technology Exchange, Joint Venture and Collaboration in the areas such as Injection Mold Optimization Design Technology, Mold Designing and Manufacturing Technology, Integrated control & monitoring system, Metal Cover Manufacturing, Hydraulic System and Boom Assembly. The program was coordinated by International Cooperation section team.
Shri Subhas Chandra Lal Das, Secretary (MSME), along with Dr. Rajneesh (AS & DC), (MSME) Smt. Mercy Epao, CMD, NSIC, Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), Shri Vipul Goel, JS (ARI) and Sh. Ateesh Kumar Singh (JS-AFI) celebrated 9th International Day of Yoga- 2023 (Theme: Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam) at NSIC Corporate Office, New Delhi on 21st June, 2023. In addition, all NSIC field offices across the country celebrated enthusiastically with Mass Yoga Demonstration following Common Yoga Protocol.
Sh. Kishan Pal Gurjar, Honorable Union Minister of State for Power and Heavy Industries being welcomed by Centre Head, NSIC Technical Services Centre ( Neemka ) Shri Umesh Dixit .The District Administration (Faridabad) appreciating the contribution of the NTSC (Neemka) in skilling the local youth organized a program for women self-help groups on 15th June 2023 at the NTSC(Neemka). The NTSC (Neemka) offers conventional to Hi-Tech training and skill development programs to learners in order to nurture them for employment and self-employment opportunities.
Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing ) and Sh. Gaurav Gulati, Director ( Fin.) during their recent visit to Hyderabad on 08-09 June 2023 interacted with Industry Stakeholders, wherein members from leading Industrial Associations viz., Confederation of Women Entrepreneurs – India (COWE-INDIA), Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India, The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), Builders Association of India, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Jeedimetla Industries Association, Balanagar Micro & Small Industries Association were present. During the discussion, they highlighted various initiatives of NSIC for the growth of MSME sector. The Members of the Associations applauded the various schemes of NSIC in scaling up the MSME Sector in Telangana Region. After the program the Director(s) also reviewed the performance of the Zone (South 2),NSIC and motivated them to give their Best performance during the year 2023-24.Shri K. Srinivas, Zonal Head (Telangana & Andhra Pradesh) and his team were present on this occasion.
On the occasion of World Environment Day, Ms. Mercy Epao , CMD,NSIC planted a sapling in the premises of NSIC (Andheri) Office . Speaking on the occasion, she stated that every human being has the fundamental right to live in a healthy environment therefore each one of us must contribute to the protection of the environment and the well-being of the planet in best possible manner. Also present on this occasion was Shri Manoj Singh, Zonal Head ( West Zone) ,NSIC
On the occasion of World Environment Day Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), NSIC along with Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), NSIC administered pledge on "Mission Lifestyle for Awareness " (LIFE) with NSIC employees. On this occasion to encourage healthy planet, they also planted saplings in the NSIC campus. The theme for World Environment Day 2023 is "Solutions to Plastic Pollution".

As a prelude to celebrate World Environment Day (05th June, 2023), NSIC organized a webinar on Mission Life Style for environment on 01st June, 2023 for NSIC employees imparting knowledge on adopting Healthier habits as regards to eating, planting etc. in our daily lives to protect and preserve the environment. The speaker of the webinar was Dr. Namita Mathur, CEO, International Institute of Health & Hygiene (IIHH). The program was coordinated by Ms. Hina Sharma, DM (Training), NSIC.
