The Hindi month celebrations were inaugurated by Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC on the occasion of Hindi Diwaswhere the officials of NSIC Branch and Zonal offices were present. On the occasion of Hindi Diwas ,Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD NSIC planted a sapling in the premises of NSIC Office .To encourage the use of Hindi language ,Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC urged the employees to use official language extensively as also use the same in their day to day official work .The Hindi Month will end on 7th October, 2014. During this period various competitions will be organised for the NSIC employees like essay writings, slogan writing debate etc.
A Report on MSME sector growth in the State of Rajasthan was presented by Shri Ravindra Nath CMD, NSIC to the Hon’ble Minister, MSME during the Samay Udyami -2014 Awards organised by Samay News Network. The report highlights the industrial scenario of Rajasthan ,the status of MSME sector and the problems being faced by this sector. The report also brings out various suggestions/ improvements required for the growth of MSME sector in Rajasthan.
NSIC supplied Peanut Paste Processing, Peanut Oil Processing & Tomato Paste Processing Plants to Senegal Military Department on turnkey basis. The quality of finish products obtained from plants after their Installation, Commissioning and Training to the Senegalese personnel at site were appreciated by authorities and believed that the said pilot Incubation project would be extremely useful to the Army of Senegal towards creating opportunities for ‘self-employment’.
Hon`ble Union Minister of MSME, Kalraj Mishra inaugurated the NSIC online e-commerce shopping portal, www.msmeshopping.com for the Indian micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Shri Madhav Lal, Secretary, Ministry of MSME Govt. of India, Shri B.H. Anil Kumar JS (ARI) , Dr. H.P.Kumar, CMD NSIC , Shri Ravindra Nath, Director (Fin.), NSIC & Shri P. UdayaKumar ,Director (P&M), NSIC were present on this occasion.
Sh. Tarun Gogoi, Hon`ble Chief Minister of Assam has inaugurated the Incubation Centre set up by NSIC under Turn Key project at Titabor, Dist Jorhat, Assam on 2nd July, 2014. NSIC has installed 4 projects initially i.e. Fashion designing, Readymade Garments, Bakery products manufacturing and Computer Hardware & Networking where 2 months training is being imparted by NSIC to 45 trainnes w.e.f. 4th June, 2014. Hon`ble Chief Minister has been apprised of all the projects & working of different machines. Hon`ble Chief Minister was highly satisfied with the Centre and ask NSIC to install more projects at the Centre. After completion of the training the Centre will be handed over to Government of Assam
Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon`ble Union Minister, MSME during his visit to NSIC released a video film on NSIC-Rapid Incubation programme - बेरोज़गारी से स्वरोज़गार की ओर बढ़ते कदम as above. Shri S.N. Tripathi Jt. Secretary-MSME, Dr. H.P. Kumar CMD NSIC, and Shri Ravindra Nath Director (Finance) were also present in the function.
Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Entrepreneurship & Skill Development, Sports and Youth Affairs, Sri Sarbananda Sonowal has visited NSIC Incubation Centre at Guwahati on 22nd June,2014. He has been apprised the activities of NSIC specially in the North Eastern part of India by C.G.M. Sri J.K.Mahanta.
To promote Credit facilitation for sustainable development of MSMEs,the DCB Bank signed an MoU with CRISIL in the presence of Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC. The MoU not only aims at facilitating credit for MSMEs but also encourages them for Rating under Performance and Credit Rating Scheme .The MOU being exchanged between Shri Sachin Nigam,President & Business Head (Ratings),CRISIL and Shri Abhijit Bose, Group Sr-VP,DCB Bank Ltd.
