NSIC Incubation Centre at Guwahati on 22nd June,2014. He has been apprised the
activities of NSIC specially in the North Eastern part of India by C.G.M.
Sri J.K.Mahanta.

NSIC facilitating MSMEs for Performance and Credit Rating

To promote Credit facilitation  for sustainable development of MSMEs,the
DCB Bank signed an MoU with CRISIL in the presence of
Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC. The MoU not only  aims at facilitating credit for
MSMEs but also encourages  them for Rating  under Performance and Credit
Rating Scheme .The MOU being exchanged between Shri Sachin Nigam,President
& Business Head (Ratings),CRISIL and Shri Abhijit Bose, Group Sr-VP,DCB
Bank Ltd.

To promote Credit facilitation for sustainable development of MSMEs,the DCB Bank signed an MoU with CRISIL in the presence of Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC. NSIC signs MOU with State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur

NSIC  signed  MOU with State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur to promote Credit facilitation  for sustainable development of MSMEs recently. The MOU was signed by Shri Ravindra Nath, Director (Finance) , NSIC and Shri A.M Maheswari, Dy. General Manager (MSME) , State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur. NSIC and signed a MOU agreement. The MOU aims at facilitating credit for MSMEs and  encourages  them for being rated under Performance and Credit Rating Scheme so as to prepare them for meeting emerging global challenges.

During the workshop on NSIC Performance  & Credit Rating Schemes held  at Planning Commission, Shri Arun Maira, Member Planning Commission, releases   a Report on Performance & Credit Rating Scheme in the presence of Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC and Ms.Roopa  Kudva, Managing Director & CEO, CRISIL.

Director (Finance), NSIC inaugurates 4th Management Development Program

NSIC organised a in house Interactive Sessions  at the NTSC conference
Hall, New Delhi for NSIC  Branch Heads and other employees in the country
to Share their  Experiences & Develop Strategies for the year 2014-15 for
the growth of MSME sector and effective dissemination of the benefits of
NSIC Schemes. Inaugurating this 4th Management Development Program
(MDP),Shri .Ravindra Nath, Director(Finance),NSIC encouraged the
participants to become pro-active with the MSME sector and reach out at the
door steps  of prospective customers for  enhancing the  performance of
NSIC.

Botswana Delegation Visits NSIC

A delegation led by Mr. Bathatswi Tsayang, Chairman, Board of Local
Enterprise Authority(Botswana) and Dr.T.T.K.Matome ,CEO, Local enterprise
Authority, Botswana visited NSIC during their recent visit to India to know
about self-employment opportunities through Incubation program of NSIC in
the country. The delegation was briefed by Dr. H.P. Kumar, CMD, NSIC and
other officials about the program. Shri Ravindra Nath,
Director(Finance),NSIC was also present during their visit. The Botswana
delegation further expressed their desire to set up similar Incubation
Centre(s) ,developing policies and Institutional framework for SME
development in Botswana.

CMD,NSIC inaugurates All India MSME Association Conference on Credit Flow, Marketing and Branding of MSMEs.

The All India MSME Association(Mumbai) Conference  on Credit Flow,
Marketing and Branding of MSMEs was inaugurated by Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC.The Conference laid focus on the needs of the MSMEs in terms of Technology
Upgradation, Marketing and Credit facilitation through NSIC`s schemes. Also
present during this program was  Shri Dr.Avinash Dalal ,Founder President ,
All India MSME Association.

NSIC  signs MOU with ICICI Bank providing credit support to MSME Units. The MOU was signed by Sh. Ravindra Nath Director(Finance) of NSIC and Sh. Bhavesh Gupta (Group Head-Self Employed Segment) of  ICICI Bank on 15.01.14. This agreement will make it possible for two organizations to share their strengths in offering MSMEs  the  best reliable solutions to meet their credit requirements. On this occasion Director (Finance ) of NSIC proudly endorsed that this  agreement is a value added  tool that will enable us to create stronger links with MSMEs for meeting their diverse credit requirements.

At the 15th National Summit on Accelerating  Business Transformation- Best in Class Practices and Culture ,Shri Ravindra  Nath , Director (Finance),NSIC  receives Top Rankers “Excellence Award for Financial leadership “in recognition  of formulating strategies and policies for the development of MSMEs in India and abroad. The  awards  are given  to recognize  and honor  deserving  corporate and outstanding senior professionals in various management disciplines including HR, Marketing, Finance, IT and Operations.

NSIC establishes Vocational Training Centre / Incubation Centre (VTC/IC) at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on turnkey basis.

NSIC has established a Vocational Training cum Incubation Centre (VTC/IC) at Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on turnkey basis under India Africa Forum Summit (IAFS-I), 2008 of Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India. The purpose of the Incubator is to provide hands on practical training to first generation budding entrepreneurs and unemployed persons in order to equip them with knowledge and expertise for setting up new small enterprises. The Centre is equipped to provide training in 20 types of manufacturing trades such as Soya Milk, Bakery & biscuits, tomato ketchup & fruit juice, honey processing, edible oil extraction, water filtration,  packaging, gemstone cutting & polishing, jewelry making, paper napkin, toilet rolls, plastic bottle & caps, socks knitting, candle, chalk, wire nails, barbed wire, etc.The newly established Incubation Centre was handed over by NSIC to Federal Micro & Small Enterprises Development Agency (FeMSEDA), a Government Institution facilitating creation and support to Micro and Small Enterprises in Ethiopia on 15th November, 2013.
