NSIC won the “Best Layout and Best Illustration in-House Journal award “ at the National awards for House Journals & e-Magazine 2016 Awards held on 22nd February 2016 at Trivandrum, Kerala . Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC exchanged MoU with Managing Director of Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) for providing Lignite as Raw Material to micro and small enterprises (MSEs) in the State of Gujrat. Sh. Ravindra Nath informed that NSIC will facilitate Lignite in bulk at the price fixed by GMDC and eliminate the intermediaries/middlemen, thus passing the cost advantage to the MSEs whereby more than 1000 MSEs in the State shall benefit by getting Lignite atleast 10% cheaper price through NSIC. Textiles, Chemicals, Dyes and Processing enterprises in Gujrat are likely to get benefit through this tie-up. They will be able to get the much needed Lignite in a shorter time and much economical rate which will reduce the cost of production and make these units more competitive. Sh. P. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC visited Kashipur, Uttarakhand to see the preparedness of the upcoming Training cum Incubation Centre. Shri Ravindra Nath was accompanied by Shri. During his visit to NSIC on 03.02.16 Shri K.K.Jalan, Secretary, MSME saw operations at NSIC Training cum Incubation Centre at Okhla, New Delhi and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in creating opportunities for self employment and skill development. Sh. Kalraj Mishra, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, Government of India Co-chaired the First Joint Committee Meeting on MSMEs with Mauritius held at New Delhi. Mauritian delegation was led by Mr. S.S. Bholah, Hon’ble Minister of Business, Enterprise and Cooperatives of the Republic of Mauritius accompanied by Mr. V.A. Putchay, Permanent Secretary and H. E. Mr J. Goburdhun, High Commissioner of Mauritius in India. <br/><br/> Present in the Meeting from Indian side were Sh. Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State for MSME, Sh. Anup K. Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC handed over the certificates to the delegates from Papua New Guinea who had completed their Entrepreneurship Development Training in NSIC Incubation Center in New Delhi. The delegates expressed their desire to set up similar centre in their country. Shri Manoj Joshi, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, visited NSIC Technical Services Centre at Hyderabad on 14th January, 2016. Hon’ble Union Minister for MSME, Shri Kalraj Mishra inaugurated a seminar on 10.01.2016 organized by Laghu Udyog Bharti (LUB) on MSME . Hon’ble M P of Assam, Mrs. Bijoya Chakravarty, All India President, Laghu Udyog Bharati (LUB), Shri. O.P Mital , Shri S.S.Singh, CMD of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank and Shri. J.K Mahanta, CGM, NSIC Ltd. were also present.
