Having achieved a record turnover of Rs. 21,242 crores and record profit of Rs. 156.95 crores, NSIC paid a highest ever dividend of Rs. 29.05 crore for the year 2015-16 to the Government, which is 70% more than the last year. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC handed over the dividend cheque to Shri Kalraj Mishra, Hon`ble Union Minister, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India in the presence of Shri Giriraj Singh, Hon’ble Minister of State of MSME and Shri Haribhai Parathibhai Chaudhary, Hon’ble Minister of State of MSME and Shri K.K. Jalan, Secretary (MSME) during a MSME Meet on GST held on 14.10.2016 at New Delhi. Also present on the Occasion were Shri S.N. NSIC - Technical Services Centre Rajkot organized a Job Fair 2016 on 29th September 2016 at Livelihood Business Incubation at NTSC Rajkot to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placement. <br/> Fourteen number of companies from divergent fields like Rajan Technocast Pvt. Ltd., FM PBW Bearing Pvt. Ltd., GPM Casting Pvt. Ltd., Arahant Communications and more participated in this Fair.50 job aspirants participated and 29 were shortlisted for the next round of selection process. <br/> Shri Ram K. Yadav, Dy. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC inaugurated “ Product India 2016, Exhibition cum Sale” on 01.10.2016 jointly organized by Association of Lady Entrepreneurs of India (ALEAP) and NSIC from October 1 – 3, 2016 at Vijayawada. <br/> The Exhibition was aimed to promote products manufactured by women entrepreneurs. NSIC, Visakhapatnam in association with The Federation of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTAPCCI) has organized Buyers Sellers Meets – cum - Vendor Development Program at Visakhapatnam on 30.09.2016. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC inaugurated the event in presence of Smt. Sobhana K.S. Rao, IFS, Development Commissioner, Visakhapatnam (SEZ).<br/> Various PSUs such as National Thermal Power Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and Dredging Corporation of India Limited etc. attended the event and made presentations on their Vendor Registration procedures and the products / services which they procure from MSEs. <br/> Shri V.Prabhar Rao, Addl.G.M (F&A), NTPC, Sri Ravi Kumar, Chief Manager, HPCL, Sri B.Durga Prasad Babu, DGM, Dredging Corporation of India Ltd., represented the buying agencies. Shri Ravindra Nath, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NSIC inaugurated NSIC’s Online Finance Facilitation Center on 29.09.2016 at Hyderabad in line with NSIC’s initiative to provide digital facilitation of loan proposals of MSMEs with various banks. This is the fifth Centre launched by NSIC in the country in order to assist MSMEs of this region in getting easy access to Finance from Banks. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Nath stated that On-Line Finance Facilitation Center will provide collective funding options from various Banks to MSMEs through online portal www.nsicffconline.in.Shri Nath also stated NSIC has signed MoU with various banks for credit facilitation to MSME sector of the country and Web-linkages between NSIC’s Online Finance Facilitation Web Portal and Portals of majority of banks have already been established for fast and online decision making. Sh. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC interacted with representatives of various industries` associations of Aligarh in order to understand the skill and common facilities requirements of the industry of Aligarh region. The objective was to revamp the activities of NTSC, Aligarh according to the needs of the industry. CMD also apprised them of various recent initiatives taken by NSIC. Sh. A.K. Mittal, who has taken over as Director (Fin), NSIC also accompanied CMD. A National High Power Committee meeting Chaired by Shri Kalraj Mishra, Union Minister for MSME was held at New Delhi on September 22, 2016, to review the progress of the National SC/ST Hub which is being established to promote SC/ST Entrepreneurs. Speaking on the occasion Shri Mishra said that the National SC/ST Hub will be launched soon within a record time of 7 months from the announcement in the budget speech of 2016-17. <br/> <br/> Hon’ble Minister said that Government led by Sh. Narendra Modi was keen to inculcate the spirit of self-employment among the SC/ ST population and he urged upon all the participants, especially industries associations to take it in the mission mode. <br/> He informed that his Ministry has made an initial allotment of allocation of Rs. 490 crore for the period 2016-2020 for the National SC/ST Hub. The Hub would primarily aid in strengthening market access/linkage, monitoring, capacity building, leveraging financial support schemes and sharing industry best practices etc. The hub would operate from National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Headquarters in Delhi, supported by a special cell created for this purpose. <br/> <br/> Hon’ble Minister of State, MSME, Shri Giriraj Singh emphasised the need to work at the grass root level and start work on a pilot basis with identified CPSEs in the districts having large presence of SC/ST entrepreneurs. The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), a Government of India Enterprise under the Ministry of MSME, in its 61st Annual General Meeting held on 19.09.2016 at its Corporate Office in New Delhi has declared highest ever dividend of Rs. 29.05 crore for the year 2015-16 as against Rs. 17.02 crore paid for the year 2014-15. <br/> NSIC has also achieved record business of Rs, 21242 crore and earned Profit before Tax of Rs. 156.95 crore during the year. <img ALIGN=right src=/images/61annyear.jpg height=80 WIDTH=90/>
