An 18 member delegation of National Conference of Association of Small Business Entrepreneurs (NASE) of Japan visited NSIC on 14th December, 2016 with the objective of exploring possibilities of cooperation in MSME sector through NSIC. Mr. Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC apprised the delegation of NSIC’s activities in promoting MSMEs with in India and in other countries. Delegation was also taken around NSIC’s other facilities for promoting MSMEs through its Technical Service Centre at Okhla and also its program for developing self-employment opportunities for the youth. NSIC, Branch Office, Agra with the support of MSME Development Institute, Agra, Council for Leather Export (CLE) and Centre for Footwear Technology Institute (CFTI) organized a marketing campaign and awareness camp on Udyog Adhar and MSME Databank in Agra on 12.12.2016. <br/> Shri Sanjay Yadav, Senior Branch Manager, NSIC conveyed the importance having Udyog Aadhaar and registration in MSME DataBank. During the event a special camp was set to help MSMEs enrolled in MSME Databank.

NSIC Branch Office Agra organizes a seminar on Cashless Transaction at Agra. Shri Rautan Singh, AGM, Canara bank, Sh. Manish Kumar, Yes Bank and Shri Mohit Rana, Regional Head, Brickwork Rating Agency gave presentations on their respective products and discussed the benefits of doing Cashless Transactions. Shri Sanjay Yadav, Senior Branch Manager, Agra, NSIC motivated the participants to do the Cashless Transactions in day to day life.

A Special Vendor Development Program for SC/ST entrepreneur was organized by the NSIC, BRANCH OFFICE, AGRA in association with “AGRA JUTA UTPADAN SAMITI”, AGRA FOOTWEAR CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY and “ BHEEM YUVA VAYAPAR MANDAL, AGRA” on 12.12.2016. <br/> Shri Jasbir Singh, Zonal Head, North-I, NSIC and Shri Sanjay Yadav, Senior Branch Manager, Agra, NSIC conveyed about the benefits being given to the special Category entrepreneurs through the National SC/ST Hub and also discussed the facilities being given to the SME sector in terms of Financial Support, Marketing Support, Raw Material Support and Technical Support. <br/> Shri Nitin Yadav, Sr. Procurement Officer and Scientist of the ADRDE discussed about the procurement procedure of ADRDE and product being procured. Sh. Anup Seth, DGSND explained about the procedure and articles procured various department of the Home Ministry especially Para military. 155 Participants were attended the program and among them 127 were belongs to SC/Micro special categories

Branch Office Noida has organizes a seminar on Cashless Transactions at IIA (Indian Industries Association) in Association with Paytm and SBI Bank on 09/12/2016 at IIA Greater Noida. With a purpose of go cash less by using cashless facilities to make all payments and receipts through e-platform, Shri Manish Dingra ( Assistant Manager), Paytm and Shri C. B. Branch Office Noida organized a seminar on Cashless Transactions at NEA (Noida Entrepreneurs Association) in Association with HDFC Bank on 09/12/2016 at NEA Noida. The seminar was organized with an objective to educate people of using cashless facilities to make all payments and receipts through e-platform. In this regard, Shri Manish Tripathi (Relationship Manager) from HDFC Bank gave a presentation on how to go ahead with cash less transaction by using HDFC Bank e-platform. A State level special Vendor Development program was organized by Branch Office, VKI Jaipur at Village Khandela, District Sikar, Rajasthan on 25th November, 2016. The VDP was organized for the economically backward Leather artisans / micro units of SC category. Shri D. K. Agrawal, SBM, BO VKI Jaipur elaborated schemes of the Corporation and motivated the artisan for full support from NSIC and other department. NSIC, Zone South-II and M/s.Steel Exchange India Limited, the largest private steel products producer in Andhra Pradesh with the brand name “SIMHADRI” signed an MOU for supply of various steel products to MSMEs under Raw Material Distribution. NSIC (Lucknow) participated in Sanjeevani Medical Expo 2016 from 11-13 Nov,2016 at Lucknow wherein five units participated under the NSIC banner. The Units belonging to SC/ST category displayed Medical/Surgical Equipments and Solar lanterns in this exhibition and received good response. NSIC organized a training on Cashless Transactions for its employees at NSIC, Okhla, New Delhi. The motive of the training is to enable the NSIC officials to make all payments and receipts through e-platform. In this regard, a team from State Bank of India, headed by Ms. Ritu Bansal (AGM & Relationship Manager) gave a presentation on how NSIC can go ahead with cash less transaction by using State Bank e-platform. A similar presentations was made by Mr. Nitin Gupta (Sr. Associate – Utilities), Paytm who apprised about how to use Paytm for day to day transactions. Also, a team from ICICI Bank headed by Mr. Arun Agarwal (AVP) acquainted the participants on various possibilities available with then to go cashless. Employees for the Head Office and Zonal Offices and Senior Offices attended the training. The representatives of SBI, Paytm and ICICI showcased their products and services and apprised about how to go cash less by using their services.
