Sh. Satvinder Singh presenting his views on Startups and NSICs initiatives in MSME Sector in the India - Taiwan SME Development Forum at Taipei. Sh. Singh is accompanying a delegation led by Secretary (MSME).
Secretary (MSME), Dr. A. K. Panda addresses India -Taiwan SME Development Forum at Taiwan organised by Ministry of Economy Affairs, Taiwan. Secretary (MSME) is leading delegation of Indian MSMEs and Officials to Taiwan for enhancing cooperation in MSME sector between the two sides.
Sh. Sudhir Garg, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC addressed the Indian Taiwan SME Development Forum organised by Ministry of Economic Affairs, Taiwan at Taipei where SMEs from India and Taiwan are participating. He spoke about the various initiatives taken by Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India for development and promotion of MSMEs. He also addressed on possible areas of cooperation in MSME Sector between the two sides.
Hon'ble Minister of State for Textiles,Sh. Ajay Tamta visited NTSC Okhla on 08.11.2018 and appreciated the efforts of NSIC in creating entrepreneurship culture in the country. Hon'be Minister interacted with ongoing trainees and appreciated the various training modules which are being conducting in NTSC Okhla.
Sh. Sudhir Garg, CMD, NSIC along with CGM(Tech) visited NTSC Neemka on 3rd November 2018. During the visit, CMD had detailed discussions with Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Head of the Centre and other officers on the activities of the centre. He advised them to expand the ambit of activities and reach of the centre through Technological Interventions and to address the challenges faced by traditional Micro Enterprises. CMD also took tour of the Building premises, workshops, class rooms and interacted with the faculties, students. He further suggested the faculties and officials to enhance the knowledge base and skills of the learning students. The visit of the CMD marked as an opportunity for the centre towards expansion in the areas discussed by him for sustained growth of the centre.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, today launched a historic support and outreach programme for the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector. As part of this programme, the Prime Minister unveiled12 key initiatives which will help the growth, expansion and facilitation of MSMEs across the country. They are: 59 minute loan portal to enable easy access to credit for MSMEs, Rebate in interest rate, Cash flow certainty, Technology Upgradation, Mandatory 25 percent procurement from MSMEs by CPSEs, Out of 25 percent 3 percent reserved for women entrepreneurs, Mandatory Membership of the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for CPSEs to facilitate online procurement of common use goods and services, Formation of MSME pharma clusters, One annual return for MSMEs, Relaxation in environmental clearances, Inspections of factories in the MSME sector will be sanctioned only through a computerised random allotment and Ordinance for simplifying procedures for minor offences under Companies Act
NSIC and Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd has signed the MOU agreement on 30th October 2018 to provide credit facilitation for sustainable development of MSMEs.The MOU aims at facilitating credit to MSMEs in terms of their Loan requirements and encourages them for meeting emerging global challenges. The MOU was signed by Sh.Gaurang Dixit Chief General Manager (Finance) of NSIC and Sh.Shyam Maheshwari Regional Business Manager (North) of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd.
NSIC Technical Services Centre, Howrah has commenced six weeks residential Entrepreneurship Development Training Program (EDP) for 29 Trainees from Bangladesh on 31st October, 2018. The programme intend to provide an opportunity to the participants to acquire skill on basic technical trades and gain exposure in all areas of business operation such as business skill development, identification of appropriate technology, hands on experience on working projects like soya milk extraction, bakery, socks knitting, fashion designing etc. including commercial aspects of business etc.
On the occasion of “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas“ Shri Sudhir Garg, CMD, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC interacted with the students (ongoing / passed out) Trainees participating in the Essay/Quiz /Debate competition being held at NSIC-Technical Service Centres (Okhla) on the topic “ideas for taking benefits of Technology to address challenges for masses in rural areas” from the students. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Sudhir Garg, CMD, NSIC motivated the students to regularly enhance their skills and set up their own units and become entrepreneurs.
On the occasion of birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a “ Rashtriya Ekta Diwas “ pledge was administered by Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) , NSIC along with Officers and employees of the Corporation. On this occasion, NSIC has organised an Essay/Quiz /Debate competition with the NSIC-Technical Service Centres Trainees on the topic “ Ideas for taking benefits of Technology to address challenges for masses in rural areas” from the students undergoing training/ and those who have passed out at NTSC, (Okhla) New Delhi.
