NSIC celebrated 11th International Yoga Day 2025

NSIC celebrated 11th International Yoga Day 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The event was inaugurated by Shri S.C.L Das, Secretary, MSME along with Dr Rajneesh, DC MSME, Senior Leadership team of NSIC alongwith other Senior officials from the Ministry and NSIC. The Secretary, MSME stressed on embracing yoga practices in our daily routine to embark a healthier and a happier  life. Aligning with the theme of IDY 2025, Yoga for "One Earth, one Health", Secretary emphasized on the importance of Yoga for overall Wellbeing of both humans as well as environment.

Visit of Delegation from Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt to NSIC on June 18, 2025

A delegation from the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in New Delhi, led by His Excellency Mr. Kamel Z. Galal, accompanied by Mr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Counsellor (Commercial) and Dr. Ibrahim Mamdouh Fouda, Second Secretary, Political- Economic Section visited the NSIC on June 18, 2025. The visit involved discussions with NSIC Leadership and revolved around enhancing bilateral business cooperation as per the scope defined under the recently signed MoU between NSIC and MSMEDA of Egypt particularly in skill development, creating linkages between MSMEs of both countries and participation in fairs & exhibitions. The NSIC team was led by Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD, Mr. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M), Mr. Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance), Mr. Manoj Lal, ED and the team from International Corp Division. The delegation was also given a guided tour of NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre & Advanced Training Centre by Mr. Rajesh Kumar, SGM & Centre Head, NTSC, Okhla.

The World Blood Donor Day was celebrated on 13th June 25 at NSIC Head Office

The World Blood Donor Day was celebrated on 13th June 25 at NSIC Head Office. On the occasion, CMD Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya administered the  pledge for blood donation to NSICians. CMD along with senior officials exoressed the sentiment of donating blood and saving lives. He highlighted NSICs continued commitment  towards social responsibility and echoed that blood donation is the best one can donate for serving lives of fellow human beings.

The Exhibition Excellence Award(EEA) are designed to recognize the contribution of MICE industry and felicitate its distinguished achievers.

The Exhibition Excellence Award(EEA) are designed to recognize the contribution of MICE industry and felicitate its distinguished achievers. On 31st May 2025 NSIC was invited to receive a Special Recognition at EEA 2025  in honor of distinguished contribution to the MSME  sector. The award was received by Shri Manoj Lal, Executive Director in presence of other senior officials.

Signing of MoU between NSIC and Slovak Business Agency (SBA), Slovak Republic

With an objective of expanding cooperation between MSMEs of India and Slovakia, enhancing competitiveness of MSMEs of both countries and increased business connects, NSIC signed an MoU with Slovakia Business Agency (SBA) during the State visit of Hon‘ble President of India to Slovakia. The Memorandum for cooperation was signed and exchanged by Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, CMD, NSIC with Mr. Marian Letovanec, Director of the National and International Programmes Section, SBA of Slovak Republic in the presence of Her Excellency The President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu and His Excellency The President of Slovak Republic, Mr. Peter Pellegrini on April 09, 2025 at the Presidential Palace, Bratislava during the state visit of Her Excellency Smt. Droupadi Murmu, President of Republic of India. The MoU signing event witnessed the presence of high level Indian delegation accompanying the Hon‘ble President of India, H.E. Ms. Apoorva Srivastava, Ambassador of India to Slovak Republic, H.E.

A great growling engine of change - Director (Planning & Marketing) leads technical delegation to Taiwan

In a walk into the Aisle of Technology, Sh. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing) led a delegation along with other NSIC officials  to Taiwan during 26th – 28th March 2025, to gather first-hand information of Taiwanese hi-tech industrial solutions suitable for Indian MSMEs and to explore potential cooperation opportunities under the framework of MoU signed between NSIC and Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan. During his visit Mr. Sinha met Mr. G. J. Lee, Director General, SME and Start-up Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan and he emphasized that the Taiwanese technologies have immense relevance in the current industrial manufacturing scenario of India in line with Industry 4.0. During his visit ,Mr Sinha also met Mr. Lewis Chen, General Director of Commercialization and Industry Service Centre, ITRI who expressed need for synergising with NSIC for dissemination of Taiwanese technologies to Indian MSMEs by creating possibility of developing technical centres in India.  Mr. Sinha also visited the R&D facility and latest technology and manufacturing sites like Co-robot manufacturing unit, smart manufacturing demo site, CNC machine and 3-D printing manufacturing arranged by ITRI .

Resonating with the theme Accelerate Action for observing International Womens Day 2025, NSIC observed the day by organising a capacity building program for Women employees to commemorate the day. Ms. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME was the Chief Guest in the inaugural session which witnessed presence of Ms. Aiswarya Jain from DIPAM, Dr. Subhransu Acharya, CMD, Shri Kartikeya Sinha, Director (P&M) and Shri Gaurav Gulati, Director (Finance) besides lady employees of the Corporation. The day witnessed enlightening sessions on Leadership & excellence  by Brahmakumaris, on Women centric health issues by a renowned gynaecologist and Cybersecurity issues concerning cybercrimes targeting women.

Visit of Tajikistan Business Delegation to NSIC on February 14, 2025

A business delegation from Tajikistan, led by Mr. Akmal Sharipov, Head of the Department of Light Industry and Sericulture, Ministry of Industry and New Technologies (MINT), Tajikistan, called on Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman-cum-Managing Director of NSIC on February 14, 2025 to explore potential collaborations in the MSME sector between NSIC and MINT, Tajikistan. The discussions primarily focused on enterprise creation, skill development, incubation, joint ventures, and the exchange of expertise especially in textile industry.
During the meeting, Dr. Acharya provided an overview of NSIC’s various initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and foster the holistic growth of MSMEs in India. Also present in the discussion was Mr. Kartikeya Sinha, Director (Planning & Marketing) along with other officials of NSIC. The delegates also visited NSIC’s Livelihood Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre at the NSIC Technical Service Center in Okhla.

ICAI hosted the World Forum of Accountants (WOFA) at Yashobhumi, New Delhi from January 31 to February 02, 2025. During the Convention, WOFA had dedicated a full session for deliberations on aspirational MSMEs. The title of the Session was Igniting MSME Growth: Innovation, Finance, and Policy Synergy. The distinguished panel saw the participation of Shri S.C.L. Das, IAS, Secretary (MSME) who delivered the Keynote Address, besides Dr. S. S. Acharya, CMD, NSIC, Shri Sunil Kumar Chugh, CGM, MSME, Punjab National Bank, Shri Bharat Kumar Mishra, MD & CEO, SBI Global Factors Ltd. CMD, NSIC highlighted the multifaceted interventions of NSIC especially the Fund of Funds for MSMEs (SRI Fund) and market linkage efforts as well as its supply chain credit interventions.

His Excellency Mr. Robert Maxian, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Slovak Republic to India, called on NSIC and met Dr. Subhransu Sekhar Acharya, Chairman-Cum-Managing Director, NSIC on 22nd January 2025 to discuss potential avenues for cooperation in the MSME sector between NSIC and Slovakia. The discussions particularly focused in the realm of enterprise creation, skill building, incubation and entrepreneurship development. His Excellency Mr. Robert Maxian was accompanied by Ms. Simona Novosadova, Trade Commissioner, Slovak Embassy, New Delhi. During the meeting, Dr. Acharya provided an overview of the various initiatives undertaken by NSIC to promote entrepreneurship and holistic growth of MSMEs in India. Following the discussions, the delegates from Embassy of the Slovak Republic toured NSIC Advanced Training Centre in Okhla, New Delhi. His Excellency commended the centre effective approach to skill development and its contribution to empowering individuals through entrepreneurship and job creation. The discussion was facilitated by International Cooperation Division led by     Mr. Sunil Tyagi, Senior General Manager (International Cooperation) &  Mr. Rajiv Nath, Deputy General Manager (Head NTSC, Okhla, New Delhi).

Shri Ram Kumar Yadav, Dy. General Manager/Centre Head of NTSC Aligarh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NAPS Narora.

Shri Ram Kumar Yadav, Dy. General Manager/Centre Head of NTSC Aligarh, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NAPS Narora for the fourth consecutive year under the CSR Scheme. This collaboration will provide skill development training to 690 youth from Narora and surrounding areas, across 10 different courses, with a total training revenue of ?2.76 Crores for the Financial Year 2025-26. The MoU was signed in the presence of Shri A.K. Agarwal, Chairman, CSR Committee on behalf of NAPS Narora. This initiative reaffirms our commitment to empowering youth through skill development and fostering community growth.
