MoU signed between MMTC & NSIC on 19.02.2020 for supply of Imported Non-Ferrous Metals to MSME through NSIC.Shri Ved Prakash, CMD - MMTC, Shri Ashwani Sondhi, Director - MMTC & Shri P.Udayakumar, Director(P&M) - NSIC were present when the MoU was signed by Shri Paramjeet Singh, General Manager -SG (BD) with Shri Khushinder Nath, General Manager - MMTC.

One day Training Program on Digital Marketing conducted for Artisans on 06-02-2020 under support from NABARD

A One day Training program  on “Digital Marketing and Behavioral Sciences”  was conducted at NSIC- Technical Services Centre, Neemka on 6th February,2020 for Artisans participating in Suraj Kund Mela,  2020 under financial support and facilitation by NABARD.  Over fifty Artisans from across the country participated in the program which commenced with lamp lighting session and welcome speech Shri Rajesh Kumar, Centre Head  who also  briefly described the NSIC schemes and the role of Technical Services Centre. Duirng the program Senior Officers from NABARD were also present. Shri Vijay Kumar Nagra, AGM  briefed the participants about the schemes of NABARD and it’s role in rural development.

Technical Session on  Digital Marketing was delivered by  Shri Amit Goel, Director , M/s Mobeology Communications Pvt. Ltd. , Faridabad. He explained about the importance and intricacies of Digital Marketing for growth and development of businesses of the Artisans. He also explained as to how the Artisans in their respective areas of operation can take use of Digital marketing despite technological challenges and limitations in rural areas. 

Shri Pankaj Kumar Trehan, from Institutions of Engineers, Faridabad,  explained about the marketing portal for digital marketing and  he also covered the features of MSME portal, NSIC’s  B2B schemes to help Artisans to display their product to global market, Importance of the portal to their business and for marketing their products  at their respective workplace with reduced marketing cost.
The last session on “Behavioral Sciences” was taken up by Ms. Anudeep, Faculty and well explained  their importance & role in the business.

All the Artisans were  very much impressed with the training program on Digital Marketing and expressed their utmost satisfaction and resolve to take the advantage of Digital marketing to expand their business through Digital model.

In the vote of thanks offered by Shri  Sanjeev Tripathi, DGM, NABARD he greatly appreciated the conduct of the program for its relevance and advantage to the Artisans and said to conduct more such programs in other districts of Haryana by engaging the expertise of NSIC-TSC, Neemka (Faridabad).

NSIC has been conferred with award for “ Best Innovative Practices in Marketing and Operations “being implemented by NSIC for the growth of MSME sector at the World Innovative Congress held on 17th February, 2020 at Mumbai. Many heads of International Organisations, imminent professionals and heads of PSUs were present on the occasion. The award was received by Shri Krishna Mohan, Deputy General Manager, NSIC (Mumbai).

NSIC (Mumbai ) organised an "Industries Association Meet"on 15th February 2020 in the presence of Shri P Ravi Kumar, ZGM (West Zone), Shri Krishan Mohan, Branch Head (Andheri) and Shri S Suresh, Branch Manager (Navi Mumbai). The interaction was especially planned to create awareness about various NSIC Schemes and also the suggestions for any new verticals/ideas from the industry fraternity for the benefit of MSMEs. NSIC and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) have joined hands to provide Skill training for target group of SC/ST/OBC/Min/PwDs, under the umbrella of MOU.

NSIC and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Ltd (ONGC) have joined hands to provide Skill training for target group of SC/ST/OBC/Min/PwDs, under the umbrella of MOU.Apart from skill training tool kits would be distributed to successful trainees and training would be imparted to make them self-employed.The MOU was signed by Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri H.P.Kumar , Group General Manager (ONGC) in the presence of Shri Satvinder Singh, C.G.M. (Tech.), Shri O.P.SIngh Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) and Ms Sashi  K. Prasad, C.G.M. (ONGC) on 19th February 2020, at ONGC- Deendayal Urja Bhawan, New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (P&M) spoke about the relevance of Industry centric skill development training and entrepreneurship training through rapid incubation programs of NSIC.

During DefExpo 2020, held at Lucknow (U.P.), NSIC signed MoU with Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA)

During DefExpo 2020, held at Lucknow (U.P.), NSIC signed MoU with Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) to create eco system for MSMEs under upcoming Defence Corridor in the state of Uttar Pradesh and with Mishra Dhathu Nigam Limited (MIDHANI) for supply of Special Raw Materials to DEFENCE MSMEs. Further, Shri. Vijayendra, IAS, Chairma-cum-Managing Director, NSIC & Shri. P. Udayakumar Director (P&M), NSIC along with other officials of NSIC interacted with the exhibitors of DefExpo 2020 at Lucknow during 6th – 7th February 2020.
