Shri P. Udayakumar Director (P&M), NSIC reviewed the progress of the civil works going on at the upcoming Dindigul Centre on 26th February, 2022. He appreciated the team in creating MSME friendly features.

Shri. P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) was invited to be special guest cum speaker for an "Interactive Session" on 23rd Feb, 2022, 2.00 PM at Board Room, Constitution Club of India, New Delhi. The event was organized by Policy Watch Foundation (PWF) which is an independent, not-for-profit policy research and action organization committed to evidence and research-based development. During his address, he highlighted the benefits of NSIC schemes.

NTSC (RAJKOT) conducted a Job Meta on 02nd March, 2022 at NSIC -TSC Premises. Program was presided by Sh. P. R. Joshi, Dy. Director, MSME PPDC, Agra as Chief Guest. On this occasion, Sh Upender Kumar Kohli, GM & Centre Head, explained about the role of NSIC-TSC in the field of Skill Development, Training imparted in Tool Room, Livelihood Business Incubation Centre to Upgrade / Enhancing the technical skills of the individual under our various training programs and also highlighted the importance of skilled /weIl trained manpower for the growth of MSME Units. Sh. P. R. Joshi, Dy. Director, MSME PPDC advised the participants to avail benefit of NSIC-TSC facilities for development of their technical skill. In this Job Mela, 19 renowned MSMEs participated for selecting skilled manpower & More than 77 Trainees participated in this event and 46 Candidates were selected in preliminary round and called these candidates for final selection at their respective units.

NSIC (Zone North East) in association with Nezone Group and Federation of Industry & Commerce of North eastern region (FINER) on 25th February, 2022 organized a Marketing Campaign with their members to disseminate the benefits of NSIC Schemes at Guwahati. During the interactive meet the participants showed keen interest in the NSIC initiatives for the growth of MSME sector in the North east region. The program was attended by Shri Vijay Prakash, Zonal General Manager, NSIC and Mr. Vinit Kashyap, Sr. Branch Manager, NSIC. Speaking on the occasion Mr. Subhash Agarwal, Director, Nezone Group appreciated the efforts of NSIC and stated that M/s. Nezone and NSIC together will work for Industrial development in the region.

NSIC (Indore) signed MOU with Moira Wire for supply of TMT &Wire Rod to the NSIC Associates under the NSIC Central Zone .These engagements are intended to bring healthy bottomline for the NSIC Branch Offices and would increase reach of NSIC services to MSME sector across the country. Shri K.Sriniwas, Zonal Head,NSIC (Zone South-2 ) held a meeting with Chairman, AP MSME Development Corp. and CEO, Addl Director (Inds) on 24/02/2022 at Vijaywada to increase the out reach of NSIC schemes wherein State Govt. proposed to NSIC for signing an MOU with them to Facilitate NSIC Associates as also in various Clusters located in Andhra Pradesh.

A familiarization programme was organized in the Head Office, NSIC for newly appointed Independent Directors, Shri Kalandi Charan Samal and Dr. Ashok Ahirwar with all the Heads of Department in the presence of Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) and Shri Gaurang Dixit (Director Finance).

Shri Kalandi Charan Samal and Dr. Ashok Ahirwar, Independent Directors on the Board of NSIC visited NSIC -Technical Centre at Okhla , New Delhi. They were briefed about the activities and training of the center.

NTSC (Guwahati ) organized a valedictory function for two batches of Candle Making & Fashion Designing. The Chief Guest of function was Sh. S.S. Singh, Zonal Manager(NE), PNB. Speaking on the Occasion ,He assured the students that the Bank will consider the Mudra Project Proposals (collateral free lending ) of all the candidates passing from NTSC and desirous of setting up their own Enterprise. Shri Vijay Prakash, Zonal Head ,NSIC(North East) presided the occasion.

NSIC signed an MOU with Vedanta Limited – Sterlite Copper on 01.02.2022 for supply of Copper products to MSMEs in North India under NSIC’s Raw Material Distribution Scheme. The MoU will facilitate MSME in getting quality Copper products at competitive prices. Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC presided the NSIC signing of MoU with Vedanta Limited – Sterlite Copper. The MoU was signed by Dr. Avinash Choudhary, General Manager (RMD), NSIC and Sh. Aurodeep Mishra, Regional Manager-North, Sterlite Copper . Also present on the occasion were Sh. Pardeep Kumar, Chief Manager, NSIC, Sh. Vikas Sharma, Manager,NSIC, Smt. Usha Sharda, Manager, NSIC & Smt. Sonia Rathi, Deputy Manager, NSIC.
