NSIC Vijayawada branch officials visited the the unit on 24.12.2016 and had a discussion with the employees of the unit regarding cashless payment transaction through UPI/USSD/Debit cards/ Credit Cards/EPOS/ Internet Banking, Mobile Wallets Etc.

Shri S. Bharathudu, Manager (Law), and Shri Kishore Kumar Jha, System Operator, NSIC Branch Office Hyderabad explained about the various advantages of Cashless transactions, methods of cashless payments especially in the local language to the employees and MD

The units were encouraged to make all salary payments to workers through banking facilities only. The workers were educated about the various modes available for cashless transactions viz: UPI (Unified Payments Interface), USSD(Unstructured Supplementary service data), e-wallet, debit/ credit cards and Aadhaar enabled payment system. The pamphlets on Cashless Transactions were also distributed.

NSIC Branch Office Lucknow conducted a Campaign for promoting cashless transactions at their office on 21.12.2016 at Lucknow amongst employees of their office and other nearby office employees situated in their premises. The motive was to create interest for issuance of Debit Cards and using digital modes in day to day activities amongst individuals.
