In the event Sh. Gurpal Singh (DGM cum SBM) and Sh. The officials explained about opening of bank accounts, obtaining ATM/debit cards, using the cards for payment at various commercial establishments, precautions to be taken regarding the PIN, safety and advantages over carrying cash. They were also informed about other methods available for cashless payments.

In addition to the cashless transactions, the team explained to them about our various schemes of NSIC. All present people attended the seminar.

Shri S. Bharathudu, Manager (Law), and Shri Kishore Kumar Jha, System Operator, NSIC Branch Office Hyderabad explained about the various advantages of Cashless transactions, methods of cashless payments especially in the local language to the employees and MD
The units were encouraged to make all salary payments to workers through banking facilities only. The workers were educated about the various modes available for cashless transactions viz: UPI (Unified Payments Interface), USSD(Unstructured Supplementary service data), e-wallet, debit/ credit cards and Aadhaar enabled payment system. The pamphlets on Cashless Transactions were also distributed.
