The were educated about the various modes available for cashless transactions viz: UPI (Unified Payments Interface), USSD (Unstructured Supplementary service data), e-wallet, debit/ credit cards and Aadhaar enabled payment system.Pamphlets on various modes of Cashless Transactions were also distributed to the participants.

The officials explained about opening of bank accounts, obtaining ATM/debit cards, using the cards for payment at various commercial establishments, precautions to be taken regarding the PIN, safety and advantages over carrying cash. They were also informed about other methods available for cashless payments.
