NSIC (Cochin) conducted a Marketing Workshop for SC/ST Entrepreneurs in association with Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 25th October 2017, at Thiruvananthapuram. Shri V.Sasi, Deputy Speaker, Kerala State Legislative Assembly, was the Chief Guest for the program and was impressed by the NSIC initiatives and lauded the efforts of NSIC and DICCI in organizing this workshop in a big way and urged the SC/ST entrepreneurs to make use of the schemes in a big way.Shri P.Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC delivered the Special Address of the programme and highlighted the role played by the National SC -ST Hub and the NSIC Schemes which have been designed by NSIC to benefit SC/ST Entrepreneurs . Also present on this occasion were Shri P.Ravikumar, Zonal Head, NSIC, DICCI, Padmashree Ravi Kumar Narra , President –DICCI South India & Shri Raja Nayak, Co-ordinator, DICCI South India . A Special Vendor Development Programme for SC/ST entrepreneurs was organized by the NATIONAL SMALL INDUSTRIES CORPORATION LTD, BRANCH OFFICE- NOIDA in association with “Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL)”, at GAIL Training Institute, GAIL Building Sector 16-A, Noida on 27.10.2017 during 02 Pm to 06 PM. The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd, Branch Office Noida, and Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL), has jointly organised the programme for SC-ST entrepreneurs associated with NSIC and also involved with GAIL in tender procurement. Shri D.K. Bhatia, Zonal Head, North-1, NSIC, Shri A.N. Pandey, Executive Director, GAIL, Shri D.P. Sen, Chief General Manager (C&P), GAIL, Shri Subhash Singhal, Chief General Manager, GAIL, Shri Amarender Kumar, Chief General Manager, GAIL were presented on the dice in the programme also the Members of SC-ST Hub from KPMG, Officers from TIDC MIS NSIC HO and undersigned with Senior Branch Manager, NSIC Noida were presented in the programme. A total nos. of 46 participants with 8 guest on dais were attended the programme and among them 26 were belongs to SC (special categories) and expressed their happiness about the programme. The participants were belongs to the trade of different products and services and the event was very much beneficial for them. Branch Office Kolkata has organised a awareness program on FINANCE FACILITATION under the bank tie up scheme in association with FOSMI(Federation of Small & Medium Industries, West Bengal) on 24.10.2017 at FOSMI Conference Hall Kolkata. ICICI bank and Syndicate bank officials were also present in the program and they delivered their presentation on various MSME schemes towards working capital assessment,Term Loan etc. for the benefit and awareness of the MSME customers. NSIC Branch Office in association with CII-Chandigarh organized an exhibition at Chandigarh from 13-16 October 2017. A total of 47 No’s of MSME’s from 6 states namely Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh & Rajasthan participated out of which 30 MSME’s of SC/ST category participated under the National SC-ST Hub, an initiative of Ministry of MSME. Branch office Lucknow participated in One day Special Vendor Development Programme on 25.09.2017 in association with NTPC, Lucknow for Special Category Entrepreneurs. (S.C/ST) . The objective of the Programme was to increase the share of MSEs in Government Purchase with special emphasis on Registration of NTPC Vendors under our Govt. Purchase Scheme. In the said programme officials from MSME-DI, Kanpur, KVIC, Lucknow, District Industry Centre, Lucknow, and Senior officials from NTPC were also present. The Chief Guest of the programme was Sh. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, General Manager (C&M), NTPC, Lucknow. Sh. A.K Srivastava, Branch Manager explained the Scheme of NSIC as well as Public Procurement Policy, with special emphasis on Govt. Purchase Programme & FFC. Sh. Rajesh Kumar Gupta, General Manager, NTPC Lucknow in their closing remarks emphasised their vendors for registering in NTPC and also under Government Purchase Registration Scheme of NSIC and also highlighted their Purchase Procedure of Goods & Services. The units shown interest in Vendor Registration of NTPC and also in G.P. Registration The programme was attended by more than 100 nos. of Entrepreneurs/Vendors and officials. Branch Office, Coimbatore organized a Special Vendor Development Programme on 22.09.2017 at Coimbatore in association with National Textile Corporation, Coimbatore. Around 50 SC/ST Entrepreneurs of DICCI, CIAI and Tansida have attended the programme. Sh. G.Kannan, Senior Branch Manager, B.O.Coimbatore gave the welcome address, Sh.P.Shanmugasiva. Project Director, DIC Coimbatore explained the schemes which are offered to SC/ST Entrepreneurs by Tamil Nadu Government. Sh.S.SateeshKumar, Deputy Director MSME-DI elaborated on the schemes available in MSME Ministry. Sh.K.G.Ramakrishnan, Chief Manager, Vijaya Bank addressed the gathering regarding different schemes offered by banks. Sh.N.Perumal, Senior Manager (Techinical), National Textile Corporation, Coimbatore made a power point presentation on their procurement procedures and the list of items which National Textile Corporation is procuring from MSEs. The other officials Sh. R. Senthil Kumar, Deputy Manager (BD), Sh.V. Saravanakrishnan, Development Officer were also present for this event.
