NSIC Technical Services Centre, New Delhi & Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, Punjab signed an MoU to synergize the resources by imparting training during internship to the students of Thapar Institute on the technologies placed in Advance Training Centre in NSIC Technical Services Centre, Okhla. Mr. Satvinder Singh, Chief General Manager, NSIC & Prof. Prakash Gopalan, Registrar, Thapar Institute signed and exchanged MOU on 24th May, 2018 in the presence of Mr. Om Prakash Singh, DGM from NSIC & Mr. Charanjiv Singh, Mr. Karminder Jit Singh and other officials from Thapar Institute. This initiative would help Thapar institute students to enhance their knowledge by getting hands on training on latest technologies under the guidance of qualified and experienced faculties of NSIC Technical Service Centre at Okhla.

On the occasion of Anti Terrorism Day, Shri Ravindra Nath,CMD,NSIC alongwith all the NSIC Employees took the Anti Terrorism Pledge. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD,NSIC also motivated all NSICians to give their best performance thereby facilitating increase in Business under various schemes each year. Also present on this occasion were Shri P.Udayakumar,Director (P&M),NSIC ,Shri A.K.Mittal,Director(Fin),NSIC.

NSIC Technical Service Center at Okhla successfully imparted the training program on Computer Hardware & Software to the senior officials of “Office of Registrar General of India” (ORGI). The participants applauded the practical training delivery by the faculties of the center to Mr. Janardan Yadav, Additional Registrar General who had interacted with the participants on 16.05.2018. Mr. Janardan Yadav expressed appreciation and agreed to take up the similar training program in the center in the period ahead.

Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC along with Shri Satvinder Singh, Chief General Manager (Technology), NSIC visited LBI, Nawada. During the visit interaction were held with the trainees undergoing training program. Discussions were also held with the officials at LBI Nawada on training courses to be conducted during current financial year.

During deliberations, the various initiatives of NSIC related to the development of MSMEs across the country were shared. The Industry captains agreed to work closely with NSIC for promoting MSMEs in the State of Bihar.

During deliberations, the various initiatives of NSIC related to the development of MSMEs across the country were shared. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC had a meeting with Shri Ajay Kumar Pandey, ADM, Nawada and other functionaries in District Administration and shared about ongoing training activities in NSIC’s Livelihood Business Incubation Centre at Nawada and its expansion plan. Discussions were also held about the avenues / possible areas where NSIC may work jointly with District Administration for NSIC’s activities in Nawada for promoting MSMEs with special focus on SC / ST entrepreneurs, as it is one of the aspirational districts declared by Government of India.

Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC along with Shri Satvinder Singh, Chief General Manager (Technology), NSIC visited KVIC Training Centre at Patna. KVIC organized visit to the training facilities at the Centre and interactions with the trainees were also held.

Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) has organized a Associate Meet on 12th May’18 at Hotel Pride Plaza, Aerocity, New Delhi. In the meet IOCL had invited all their business associates members in logistic, transportation, equipment, packaging material, security and warehousing. IOCL acknowledged NSIC as the best associate for the Regional Sales Centres at Nasik & Raipur by awarding a shield for handling and storing their polymer material.

An Awareness Campaign on Public Procurement Policy for SC/ST Entrepreneurs was organized at Udyog Bhawan, Kokar Industrial Area, Ranchi on 9th May'2018 by NSSHO-Ranchi in association with Tribal Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries (TICCI). Total 25 SC-ST entrepreneurs/aspiring entrepreneurs participated in the event. Information on Sambandh and Samadhan portals was also shared with them.

The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC signs the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises,Government of India for the year 2018-19. The MOU was signed by Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, NSIC with Dr. A.K. Panda, Secretary, MSME, Govt. of India in the presence of Ms. Alka Nangia Arora, Joint Secretary, MSME, Dr. P.G.S. Rao, Director (MSME), Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC and Shri A.K. Mittal, Director (Finance), NSIC.

Bhubaneswar: Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) held its Undergraduate Convocation on April 19, 2018. A total of 15 students from the Xavier School of Communications and 71 students from the Xavier School of Commerce graduated this year. Shri Ravindra Nath, CMD, National Small Industries Corporation graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and delivered the Convocation address. The top rank holders across schools were honored with Gold Medals their achievements in Academic Excellence by the Chief Guest.
