NSIC (Dehradun) organized a Virtual Meeting with Director (Industries ) Uttarakhand recently wherein General Manager(s) of all the 13 District Industries Centre (DIC) of the state were present. During the Meeting benefits of all the NSIC schemes were explained in detail to the participants so that at the Entrepreneurs approaching DIC in each district are able to absorb effectively the benefits of NSIC schemes .The NSIC team was represented by Sh. Sanjay Rautela ,Zonal Head (North-1) ,Sh. Vidya Sagar Singh, General Manager (SG)(DSF) & Sh. Kunal Kapoor, Branch Head ,NSIC (Dehradun).
NSIC has renewed MOU agreement with Axis Bank under Bank Tie up Scheme to help MSMEs with credit facility on 16/06/2022. The MOU envisages growth and promotion of MSME Sector in the country empowering them by meeting their credit needs thereby helping them to withstand global competition. The agreement was signed by Sh. P .R.Kumar, Chief General Manager ,NSIC and Ms. A. Dubey, VP , Axis Bank in the presence of Sh. G.Dixit, Director (Finance) NSIC, Ms Himani Shali, Chief Manager and Sh.Ragunath Chief Manager.
Department of Public Enterprise, Ministry of Finance organized Nation Building and CPSEs Conclave (9th to 12th June, 2022) at Gandhinagar (Gujarat). During this Mega Show, a Quiz festival competition was also organised wherein Shri Kuldeep Singh Rajput, Branch Head (NSSHO-Surat), NSIC managing the NSIC stand at this exhibition participated in this competition and won 05 Nos. prizes. The management applauds his initiative and wish him more success in life.
A delegation led by Mr. Moustafa F. Shaikhon, Minister Plenipotentiary (Commercial) and accompanied by Ms. Marwa Abu El Sadat Aly, Commercial Counselor, Embassy of Egypt, New Delhi visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre at NSIC’s Technical Service Center, Okhla on 09.06.2022.Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (International Cooperation), NSIC welcomed the delegates and apprised them about the activities of NSIC. The delegation observed that NSIC’s models of Rapid Incubation Centre for employment generation as well as Advanced Training Centre are very useful in context of Egyptian business environment and showed keen interest to cooperate with NSIC in setting up such Centres in Egypt. Mr. O.P. Singh, GM - Head NTSC, Mr. Rajiv Nath, Chief Manager (Tech). Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Mr. Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) were also present.
Shri Honorable Cabinet Minister (Finance), Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman and Honorable Chief Minister of Gujarat Shri Bhupendra Rajnikant Patel appreciated the NSIC initiatives while being briefed about NSIC strategic importance for the growth of MSME sector by Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M), NSIC during their visit on 09th June, 2022 to the Exhibition Nation Building and CPSEs at Gandhinagar (Gujarat).
Shri Ranjit Kumar, IAS Commissioner Bureau of Public Enterprises, Government of Gujarat being welcomed by Shri P. Udayakumar, Director (P&M) at the NSIC stand in the exhibition on “Nation Building and CPSEs” on 09th June, 2022. During his visit he showed keen interest in signing MoU with NSIC for the mutual benefit of MSME stakeholders of both the organizations. Shri P.Udayakumar, DPM, NSIC along with Shri Manoj Lal, Chief General Manager and Shri P.K. Jha, CGM (Zonal Head Central), NSIC highlighting NSIC schemes to the Media persons. Also present on this occasion were Shri Vikas Mathur, Branch Head, NSIC (Ahmedabad), Shri John Thomte, Manager(Exhibition), Ms. Grace Reji, Deputy Manager and Shri Kuldeep Singh Rajput, Branch Head, NSIC (Surat).
Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing) NSIC invited as Guest of Honor at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI )- ICONIC DAY along with Smt. Mercy Epao, JS(SME), Ministry of MSME motivated the participants to come forward and avail the various offerings of NSIC and Ministry of MSME for the growth of MSME sector in the country. The ICAI organized this program as part of their Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) on 08th June, 2022 at New Delhi.
Inaugurating of INTEC 2022 on 2nd to 06th June, 2022 (spread over 25000 Sq.mt.) a five-day industrial fair organised by Coimbatore District Small Industries Association. Sh. P. Udayakumar, Director (Planning & Marketing), NSIC stated that NSIC Venture Capital Fund Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), has commenced operations and will invest in Micro, Small and Medium-scale Enterprises (MSMEs) for their growth. The Union government has mandated NSIC to implement a growth fund for the MSMEs and the NSIC Venture Capital Fund has been formed for this purpose. “We will invest in MSMEs. Works have started for this,” he said. The growth fund is launched under the Self Reliant India fund. The Ministry of MSMEs has given seed fund of ? 10,000 crore and daughter funds will bring in ? 40,000 crore. “We have a fund manager, legal advisor and an investment committee.
NSIC (Mandi) in association with NABARD recently concluded a Skill Development Training Project on 01st June, 2022 wherein the closing ceremony was presided by Shri Rajesh Jain, Centre Head ,NTSC(Rajpura) along with NABARD officials. The training activities were carried out by NSIC Mandi for skilling of women & youth of 21 villages of district Mandi (H.P.) under the sanctioned NABARD project . A small exhibition was also organized by NSIC (Mandi) students in the NSIC training centre. Speaking on the occasion Sh. Rajesh Jain, Centre Head ,NTSC(Rajpura) encouraged all women and youth groups to continually work and grow in respective fields and establish micro & small units. Sh. Lokesh Bhatia, Manager NSIC (Mandi) coordinated with NABARD for successful implementation of this program. Also present on this occasion were Sh. Chirag Setia (AM) & Sh. Saurabh Sharma (AM).
During his visit to Nagpur on 25th-26th May 2022 , Shri M.K. Singh ,Zonal Head (West) as a part of Zone West Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotstav Celebrations he planted saplings in the NSIC (Nagpur) office compound to encourage Green Environment Plantation for well being of the society
