Honorable Minister of State Shri. Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Ministry of MSME, along with Shri. Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC visited NSIC-Technical Services Centre (Hyderabad) on 30.08.2022. Speaking on the occasion, Honorable Minister encouraged the NTSC (Hyderabad) trainees and distributed certificates to them. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that the NTSC (Hyderabad) centre is providing high priority to technical education as a part of Start-up India, Skill India and Make in India initiatives of Govt. of India and he urged the students to grab the job opportunities in MSME sector and wished them to reach new heights in their career growth. Shri A.B. Prabhu Raj, Centre Head, NTSC (Hyderabad) was also present on this occasion.

Shri Gaurang Dixit, Director (Finance) on assuming the additional charge of CMD, NSIC, met Shri Arun Halder, Hon’ble Vice-Chairman, National Commission for Scheduled Castes.

A 4 member delegation led by H.E. Mr. Soomilduth Bholah, Hon’ble Minister of Industrial Development, SMEs and Cooperatives, Mauritius visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre on 26th August 2022 at Okhla, New Delhi. Mr. Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC welcomed the delegation and discussed the ongoing activities and future areas of cooperation between NSIC and SME Mauritius (SMEMU). His Excellency appreciated NSIC’s model of Rapid Incubation Centre for employment generation as well as Advanced Training Centre and showed keen interest to cooperate with NSIC for promoting MSMEs in Mauritius. Mr. P. Ravi Kumar, CGM (RMA-BG, CSR & Administration), Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (IC, Exhb. & HR), Mr. O.P. Singh, GM (Head NTSC), Mr. Rajiv Nath, Chief Manager (Tech), Mr. Vimlesh Bhatia, Chief Manager (Tech), Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Mr. Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) were also present during the visit.

A 5 member delegation led by Dr. Abdulhasan Al-Dairi, Chairman, Bahrain SMEs Society visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre on 26th August 2022 at Okhla, New Delhi. Mr. Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the activities of NSIC in the field of MSME development and highlighted the cooperation opportunities between NSIC and Bahrain SMEs Society (BSMES). The delegation appreciated NSIC’s model of Rapid Incubation Centre for employment generation and Advanced Training Centre. They showed keen interest to cooperate with NSIC in the field of MSMEs. Shri Gaurang Dixit, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, NSIC inaugurated India International Mega Trade Fair on 20.08.2022 which is being held at NSIC Exhibition Ground, Okhla, New Delhi from 19th to 29th August, 2022. Senior officers of NSIC were also present on this occasion. More than 25000 products from countries such as Turkey, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Thailand, Singapore, Dubai etc. and fourteen Indian States are being displayed in the Exhibition.

NSIC joined the Nation in celebrating the 76th Independence Day. Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC hoisted the National Flag and paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters and soldiers. Speaking on the occasion, he urged upon all NSIC employees to give their best performance during 2022-23 and work hard for the growth of NSIC. He is also reiterated NSIC commitment to strive for realizing Honorable Prime Minister dream of Atma Nirbhar Bharat.

NSIC has been actively encouraging the MSME sector and its Employees to hoist the National Flag of India in their homes to instill a feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the contribution of those who tirelessly worked for building the nation . On this ocassion, Shri G.Dixit, CMD,NSIC greeted the NSIC employees with Best wishes . The National flags have been distributed across all NSIC offices across the country for serving the purpose of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign. For spreading awareness. Selfie points were set up in NSIC and Building illuminated during the period from 13th August 2022 to 15th August 2022.

NSIC (Hyderabad) organized an Interactive Sessions on Entrepreneurship and NSIC schemes at NIMSME Campus on 25th July, 2022. The program was inaugurated by Shri K. Srinivas, Zonal Head-South-II and interacted with the delegates from Asian and African countries to share their Experiences & Develop Strategies for the growth of MSME sector and effective dissemination of the benefits of NSIC Schemes.

NSIC (Vijayawada) signed MoU with AP MSME DC (Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation) Government of Andhra Pradesh on 21.07.2022 at A.P Secretariat, Amaravati. Shri K. Srinivas, Zonal Head(South II), NSIC, Hyderabad exchanged the MoU with Smt. G. Srijana , IAS, CEO, AP MSME Development Corporation, in the presence of Shri R. Karikal Valaven, IAS , Special Chief Secretary to Government , Industries & Commerce, Andhra Pradesh & Shri Vanka Ravindernath, Chairman APMSME Development Corporation. Also present in this occasion Shri N.Panneer, Senior Branch Manager, NSIC Vijayawada Branch. The Scope of this MoU is to provide Support and Promote MSME through various NSIC Schemes in Andhra Pradesh.

NSIC signs MoU with LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd and Electronics Sector Skills Council of India on 22/07/22 in the presence of Shri Narayan Rane, Honorable Cabinet Minister, Shri Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma, Honorable Minister of State, Shri B. B Swain ,Secretary MSME ,Shri P. Udayakumar, CMD, NSIC , Shailesh Kumar Singh, AS&DC(MSME), In this endeavor, the LG Electronics and Electronics Sector Skills Council of India (ESSCI) will set up a Centre of Excellence at NSIC - Technical Services Centre aimed at training under privileged youth in the fields of consumer electronics and appliances. This will open new avenues in field of electronics for the youth and generate skilled manpower for employment in this sector. In the first year 600 youth per year would be benefited on electronics goods servicing and repairing.
