NSIC enters into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PHD Chambers on 28th December 2022 for the purpose of promoting the services of each other for the benefit of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises . Under this mutual cooperation agreement both NSIC and PHD Chambers will work together to provide information, guidance and help to MSMEs in availing various schemes of the Government, Ministry of MSME and NSIC particularly in its schemes of Single Point Registration Scheme, NSIC’s Bank Credit Facilitation Scheme, International Cooperation Scheme, SC/ST Hub scheme, Raw Material Assistance Scheme.The MoU was signed by Sh. P.Ravi Kumar, CGM(NSIC) and Sh. Saurabh Sanyal,CEO(PHDChambers) in the presence of Sh. Gaurang Dixit, CMD (NSIC) and Sh. H.P Kumar former CMD of NSIC. Also present on the occasion was Ms Himani Shali, Chief Manager from NSIC, Ms Kanchan Zutshi ,Sr. Secretary, Dr Ranjeet Mehta ,DSG from PHD Chambers.
Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC conferred with the “CEO with HR Orientation Award” at the North India Best Employer Brand Awards & HR Leadership Excellence Awards organized by World HRD Congress on 22nd December, 2022, New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC stated that I would like to dedicate this award to NSICians who have been contributing immensely for the growth of MSME sector in the country.
NSIC participated in 01st PSU Badminton Tournament organized by PSU Connect Media on 17th December ,2022. Shri Atul Sobti, Director General of the Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), an apex body of the Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs) of India, was Chief Guest and inaugurated the tournament. He motivated the players and encouraged PSUs to continue engaging in more sports activities for their employees well being. The NSIC participants included Shri Rajesh Madan, GM, Shri Sachet, Mittal, Manager, Shri Avinash, Deputy Manager and Shri Ananad Chandra, DO.
67th Annual General Meeting of NSIC was held on 19th December 2022 wherein the annual accounts for the FY 2021-22 were adopted. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, stated that total business facilitation of the NSIC for the year was more than Rs. 20,000 crore. PBT was Rs. 145 crore as against Rs. 139 crore in the previous year. He complimented all the NSICians who have contributed in achieving these results. The shareholders declared the dividend at the rate 30 percent of the net profit after tax i.e. Rs. 33.17 crore for the year 2021-22 to the Government of India.Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD (Additional Charge), Shri. Vipul Goel (Additional Charge) AS & DC, Smt. Mercy Epao, Joint Secretary, SME, Shri. S.K.Verma and Smt. Neelam Sharma, officials from Ministry of MSME, Dr. Ashok Ahirwar & Shri Kalandi Charan Samal Independent directors on the Board, attended the meeting.Also present on the ocassion were Shri Partha Majhi G.M. (Fin), Shri Ajay Sharma D.G.M.(Fin) and Smt. Nishtha Goyal, Company Secretary.
On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (theme Health & Wellness), NSIC organized a seminar on Human Wellness on 16th December, 2022 to take pledge to prioritize wellbeing and make it play an active role in making it a part of our daily life. The seminar was live on NSIC Facebook (@www.facebook.com/NSICLTD) and served as a catalyst to inspire proactive action through the insight shared by the speaker , Dr. Hema Kapoor , MBBS, The program was coordinated by Shri Avinash, Deputy Manager (CC), NSIC.
NTSC (Okhla) has organized a industry orientation training program for twenty three Assistant Professors of NSUT for 4 week on technologies related to Industry 4.0. The program sponsored by Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), (Govt. of NCT of Delhi), Dwarka, New Delhi. The training program will enable faculties to learn use of technical skills in industry and entrepreneurship. Sh. Naveen Chopra, CGM-SG (Tech.), NSIC graced the occasion and spoke about use of technological tools in entrepreneurship and opportunities for students in the inaugural session. Sh. O.P.Singh, Centre Head, NTSC (Okhla) appraised about Centre activities and advised participants to take full advantage of the resources available at the Centre during their training period.
An MoU was signed between The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd. and Walmart Global Sourcing India Private Limited on 6th December, 2022 to facilitate services to MSMEs in Walmart Vriddhi program. The MoU was signed by Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC and Ms. Prameela Mallaiah, Director and Hub Leader, Walmart in the presence of Hon’ble Minister of MSME Shri Narayan Rane. Also present on this occasion were Shri Vidya Sagar Singh, General Manager- SG, (DSF) NSIC, Ms. Nidhi Munjal, Vice President, Supplier Development- India, Walmart, Dr. Tafeem Siddiqui, Senior Director, Corporate Affairs & Policy, Flipkart group, Ms. Shama Karkal, CEO, Swasti and Team DSF of NSIC.
A delegation led by Shri B.B. Swain, Secretary (MSME), Ministry of MSME, comprising of Ms. Mercy Epao, JS (SME), Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC, Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (IC), Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), NSIC, representative from AMTZ and 9 Indian enterprises from medical devices sector visited Taiwan during 30 Nov-02 Dec 2022 for the first meeting of India-Taiwan SME Cooperation Forum organized in association with Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and India Taipei Association. The forum focused on the Healthcare sector, with the theme- Electronic Manufacturing for the Healthcare Sector. The Indian business delegates witnessed the potential of the two countries to scale up business and leveraged from each others strength. Several networking meetings were also organized. During the 3 day programme, the Indian delegation visited the Healthcare+ Expo Taiwan, Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park, Taiwan Integrated Biomedical Industrial Center (TIBIC), Intelligent Machinery Technology Center and Plastics Industry Development Center (PIDC) Industrial centres in Taichung.
On the occasion of 70th Constitution Day, Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC readout the Preamble to Constitution along with NSIC employees at Corporate Office, New Delhi on 26th November, 2022. Speaking on the occasion, he stated that we must commit ourselves to the constitutional values of our democratic nation and honour the principles of Justice, Liberty of thought, expression, Equality of status and Fraternity in our day to day life. All NSIC officers across the country also celebrated the Constitution Day in their respective offices.
Shri Narayan Tatu Rane, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister of MSME and Shri Bhanu Pratab Singh Verma, Hon’ble Minister of State (MSME) in the presence of Shri B. B Swain, Secretary MSME, Shri Gaurang Dixit, CMD, NSIC inaugurated the NSIC Pavilion on 15th Nov, 2022 at the 41st India International Trade Fair being held at Pragati Maidan .The NSIC has set up a display of 268 MSEs (SC/ST Enterprises) under the NSSH scheme wherein Units are participating in from across the country such as , Maharashtra Rajasthan, Karnataka, Punjab, Gujarat, UP, Haryana, West Bengal, Telangana etc. in the product line i.e Handicraft, textile, Food products, Leather, Gems & Jewellery, Furnishing, Embroidery & Laces, Paper Product, Herbal & Ayurvedic/Unani, Inlay Paintings, Hair product etc.
