NSIC (Mumbai) participates 12th National MSME Convention organized on 25.02.2023 by AIMA on the theme of G20- Innovation towards Sustainable Future at BSE International Convention Centre, Fort, Mumbai. On this occasion, Sh. Manoj Kr Singh, ZGM - West gave presentation on NSIC role in facilitating MSMEs through its integrated schemes

Ms. Mercy Epao, CMD-NSIC & JS-SME, Ministry of MSME chaired a virtual interactive session with Export related Certification Bodies/ Associations on 15.02.2023 to create awareness about the CBFTE scheme subcomponent, being implemented by NSIC viz “Reimbursement of Fee paid on Testing & Quality Certification acquired by MSEs to Export Products” amongst the Micro & Small enterprises applying for export certification in their respective organizations and encourage them to avail the benefit of this scheme. Around 15 senior officials from different boards such as Tea Board, Spice Board, Tobacco Board, BIS and office bearers of Chamber for Advancement of Small & Medium Businesses and Indian Chamber of International Business participated in the interactive session where they shared their suggestions and appreciated the initiative of Ministry of MSME and NSIC for the development of MSEs. NTSC (Okhla) recently organized industry oriented training programme for twenty three Assistant Professors of Netaji Subhas University of Technology (NSUT), (Govt. of NCT of Delhi), Dwarka, New Delhi for four weeks on technologies related to Industry 4.0 such as 3-D printing technologies, IoT applications, Design & Development of Solar Energy based solutions, Analysis in Structures and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with Ansys. The training programme was conducted within the campus and certificates were issued to the Asst. Professors by Sh Sh. Naveen Chopra, CGM-SG (Tech.), in presence of Smt. Asha Rani (Professor and Head-Instrumentation & Cont.)., O.P.Singh (GM-NTSC Okhla) & Rajesh Kumar (GM-Tech.).

Dr. Rajneesh, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner (MSME), visited NTSC Okhla and appreciated the Entrepreneurship and Skill Development Training being offered at LBI and Advance Training Centre and interacted with the participating trainees. Shri Navin Chopra, CGM(SG) and Shri O.P Singh, Centre Head were also present on the occasion.

Management Review Meeting and Corporate Management Review Meeting of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System of NSIC for the ISO cycles I&II and ISO cycle II respectively were held on 07-02-2023 in Conference Hall of MDBP Building, NSIC, New Delhi. Also present on this occasion, Shri Navin Chopra, CGM(SG), Shri Manoj Lal, CGM, Shri Rajesh Kumar, GM and Dr. J.K. Srivastava. During the meeting, Shri Navin Chopra, CGM(SG) appreciated the efforts of ISO Division to sensitize the NSIC employees towards adherence to ISO Quality Management system.

NTSC (Rajkot) has signed a MoU with with Gujarat Knowledge Society. The MoU was signed by Shri Upender Kumar Kohli, GM, NSIC and Shri Thushar Rawal, additional CEO, Director of Technical Education for imparting training to Diploma and degree colleges for 29 courses .The MoU has been entered for a period of 2 years.

NTSC (Neemka) in cooperation with NABARD organized a one-day training program on "Marketing, Branding, Communication and Packaging for Artisans" on 07th February, 2023. The program received enthusiastic response and more such Training Modules would be held shortly. The program was coordinated by Shri Umesh Dixt, Center (Head), NTSC (Neemka)

Rejoicing in the glory of Nationalism and Patriotism and celebrating the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav NSIC carried out Tree Plantation on 26th Jan 2023 . The NSICians believe that adopting Green Living practices, such as proper recycling, limiting electricity wastage and not using chemical-laden products is also important. Seen in the picture are Shri Manoj Lal, Chief General Manager and Shri P.Ravi Kumar, Chief General Manger planting a sapling for encouraging a habitable atmosphere on the planet.

All NSIC offices celebrate d 74th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and hosted the National Flag. The employees and wards of employees recited poems and Patriotic Songs on the occasion.

During the meeting, a presentation on Present Scenario of ICT in respect to Ministry of MSME was made by Shri. Shubhendu, DDG, NIC. Shri Vidya Sagar Singh, GM-SG (DSF), NSIC gave presentation on the MSME Global Mart. Also, present on this occasion were Shri S.K. Verma, Deputy Secretary, MSME, Mr. Vidya Sagar Singh, GM-SG (DSF), NSIC and Smt. Anju Kapoor, Chief Manager (IT)-DSF, NSIC. The delegation has shown keen interest to cooperate with Ministry of MSME for various Portals/ Platforms.

A delegation led by Mr. B. Gangaram Panday, Managing Director, Electric Lighting and Technical Company (ELTO), Suriname visited NSIC’s Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre at NSIC Technical Service Center (Okhla), New Delhi on 20.01.2023. Mr. Sunil Tyagi, GM-SG (IC), Mr. O.P. Singh, GM - Head NTSC, Ms. Adiba Bari, Manager (IC), Mr. Anupam Tiwari, Manager (IC) and Mr. Shashank Shekhar, Asst. Manager (IC) apprised the delegates with the activities of NSIC and discussed upon the possible cooperation areas between NSIC and Suriname. The delegation observed that NSIC’s model of Rapid Incubation Centre for employment generation and Advanced Training Centre is also required for development of MSMEs in Suriname. They appreciated NSIC’s facilities for skill development and creation of self-employment opportunities.

A Cote d lvoire delegation led by Mr. Antoni Ledoux Aka, Director, Information System of the Ivorian Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Promotion of SME, (Govt. of Cote d lvoire) visited NSIC Livelihood Business Incubation (LBI) Centre and Advanced Training Centre on 19th Jan., 2023. Shri O.P Singh, GM (Centre Head-NTSC) briefed them about the offering of NSIC Rapid Incubation Centre and Advanced Training Centre. The delegation appreciated NSIC model for employment generation and has showed keen interest to collaborate with NSIC for promoting SMEs in Govt. of Cote d lvoire and setting up of LBIs in their country. Also, presented of this occasion were Mr. Vidya Sagar Singh, GM-SG (DSF), Mr. Rajiv Nath, Chief Manager (Tech), Mr. Vimlesh Bhatia, Chief Manager (Tech), Ms. Sandeep Tomer, Manager (DSF), Mr. Pankaj Rawval, Deputy Manager (Tech), etc.
