Shri Chandra Mohan Patowary, Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship,Industry and Commerce in Government of Assam inaugurated the 24th International Guwahati Trade Fair-2017 organized by NSIC, Guwahati in association with ITFAA in the presence of Shri Jayanta Mahanta, Chief General Manager, The National Small Industries Corporation Ltd.-NSIC(North East) and Shri J. Hazarika, President, ITFAA and Shri. S.B Bose, MD, Wamul.

MSMEs from the states of West Bengal, Orissa, Jammu & Kashmir and from other North East region showcased the products and services in the segment of Handloom, Textiles, Handicraft, Decorative Items, Food Processing, IT, Jewellery etc.

Units from 9 foreign countries namely- Bangladesh, Pakistan, Turkey, Thailand, Afghanistan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Dubai and United Kingdom also participated in the event.
