 Sub: PARTICIPATION IN “TECHMART INDIA 2010”  

Encouraged with the success of earlier “Techmart India” – an International Technology Fair and its significant role in the growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, NSIC is once again organizing Techmart India 2010 (18^th International Technology Fair) from 14-27 November, 2010 at Hall no. 14 ( Air Conditioned ) to showcase achievement of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises under one roof, coinciding with the India International Trade Fair at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.  

Techmart India 2010 spread over an area of 5000 sqm., will be a perfect platform for those entrepreneurs who are interested in keeping abreast with the latest technological developments in the Micro, Small and Medium Sector. The show covers the wide range of engineering, manufacturing & allied industries. It is also an ideal platform to Network / Establish new business contacts/renew old contacts, discover new market opportunities and enhance market access in India & abroad. 

Techmart 2009 attracted a good response from trade and industry. 202 micro and small units from all over India representing the states of Delhi, Punjab, Himanchal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Gujarat, Chandigarh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Hyderabad, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamilnadu including more than 50 units from North Eastern States participated in the exhibition. The exhibition was divided in to several segments like Light Engg., mechanical products, electrical & electronics, institutions, packaging, bakery, information technology, machine & machine tools & general products. etc. During the duration of the fair, 16 foreign delegations visited from countries like South Africa, Poland, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Nigeria, Mozambique, Sri Lanka, Brazil, Afghanistan, Iran, Botswana, Libya, Ethiopia, Angola and Tunisia and other Commonwealth Countries. 

The event was very successful and total number of 2,86,680 domestic business enquiries and export enquiries worth Rs. 1249.75 crores were generated.  

In tune with this and with a view to play a vital role in the process of technology upgradation and assimilation for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, NSIC will also organize seminars during IITF 2010 so as to facilitate Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to acquire updated technology as well as to assimilate the same in the manufacturing quality products.

Keeping above in view, NSIC once again take this opportunity to invite your participation in Techmart India 2010.  The units displaying their products are required to put up blow ups in their respective stalls for displaying the technology used for manufacturing of their products, which are on display. The participation cost in Techmart India 2010 is as under.

 1.      Participation Fee  

 2.      Participation by enterprises belonging to Special Category (SC/ST, Women & North East Region)  

Out of the total display area, 30% area has been earmarked for enterprises belonging to Special Category i.e. entrepreneurs from North East Region, Women, and SC/ST and subsidy shall be provided to them as per the approved Marketing Assistance Scheme. 

The allotment of space to the entrepreneurs belonging to Special Category (SC/ST, Women & North East) shall be made on first come first serve basis on submission of necessary documents i.e. DIC registration certificate or Acknowledgement (Part I & II) issued by District Industries Centre ,  proof of women entrepreneur and 2 years Balance Sheet. The space will be allotted as per following: 

(a)   The space will be allotted in Block B, D & F on sharing basis.

(b)  The maximum space of 18 sqm will be allotted for units  displaying machines/industrial  & engineering products.

(c) The maximum space of 6 sqm will be allotted for units displaying handicrafts items/consumer products on sharing basis.

(d) The units requiring space more than their limits as mentioned above for displaying machinery/industrial & engineering products, the additional space would be allotted at the rates applicable to general category entrepreneurs. However, allotment of space to these units can be considered in Block A, C, E & G subject to availability and their display profile.  

3.      Compulsory Directory Charges                  :  Rs.500/- each participants 

4.      Freight Subsidy 

Upto 50% of the actual cost for transportation of machines only subject to a maximum of Rs.15000/- only or whichever is less will be reimbursed  to the units who are bringing machines from outside NCR on production of LR by Govt. approved transport/Railway. 

5.      Power Charges for additional lights and live demonstration of Machines       :

      Rs.3000/- per KW for entire duration of the Exhibition (incase  additional  power not applied  along with the application form, the  additional power load will be provided only from 20^th November, 2010) 

6.  Advertisement Tariff in Trade Directory of Techmart India 2010 

 Advertisement received will be published in the Trade Directory of Techmart India 2010. 

Interested units may send their request for reserving space alongwith booking amount  @ 25% of total space rentals
