Muniyapa ,Minister of State (Independent Charge) ,Ministry of Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises, inaugurated the NSIC Vendor Development Program and Buyer Seller Meet at Feroze Gandhi Degree College , Rai Bareilly (UP) .Also present on the occasion were Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC ,Shri U.P.Singh, CEO ,KVIC amongst other dignitaries .A large number of Government institutions, Public Sector Enterprises and Banks like Rail Coach Factory, NTPC,BHEL, Indian Standard Bureau ITI, GAIL,DGS&D,HAL,SIDBI ,etc participated in this program and highlighted their terms of purchase from the Buyers and their various technical requirements which should be adopted by the MSMEs of the area to meet the requirements of Buying organizations. Giving his inaugural address ,The Hon’ble Minister, MSME stated that National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), is the nodal organization for promotion of MSMEs in his Ministry, has devised number of schemes to support MSMEs and has been providing integrated support to them in the field of technology, marketing, credit and information. Shri K.H.Muniyapa, Hon’ble Minister, MSME advised NSIC to undertake the study of the local requirements of SMEs of this region and if required, to set up liaison cum marketing office in this area to provide required assistance to MSMEs.
Welcoming the Hon’ble Minister, MSME to the NSIC - Vendor Development Program and Buyer Seller Meet at Rae Bareilly, Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC stated that NSIC is offering package of services for the MSMEs of Rae Bareilly Particularly, the schemes like Performance & Credit rating to enhance credit worthiness of MSMEs, strategic alliances with commercial banks to facilitate credit to MSMEs, Training cum Incubation centers to create self-employment opportunities in the country, opening up of Marketing Intelligence Cell, forming consortium of SMEs for bulk procurement orders and providing raw material assistance are innovative schemes which are benefitting this sector immensely and enhancing their competitiveness. The MSMEs of Rae Bareilly can also avail these schemes for their growth. NSIC also assist in developing export market for MSMEs by organizing their participation in foreign exhibitions.,Dr.H.P.Kumar,CMD,NSIC added.
